Sinopse

A quiet street in the city of Edinburgh, tall buildings whose numerous windows both look out onto the same street and hide the residents inside them bar the occasional twitching curtain. Nothing to see here, just your everyday residents going about their daily business, a perfectly regular neighbourhood. Unless you look a little bit closer, the patterns, routines and characters are trying to hide their stories, and some are desperate to be seen. One local observer watches their comings and goings, meticulously noting their movements and impact on those around them.

When a routine Ghost Trap Rodeo turns deadly, Mac Travis is dragged into the most explosive fight for the Florida Keys he’s ever faced.
A cold front has blown through the islands, scattering abandoned stone crab traps across Pine Channel. What should be a simple cleanup turns sinister when Mac, Bear, and Trufante haul up a trap packed with more than old line and algae—inside is a cache of engineered chemicals capable of destroying entire sections of reef.
Someone is using the traps to hide a weapon… and they’re not finished.
All signs point to a rival fishing boat run by Garland Hughes and his fiercely ambitious daughter, Isabella—locals with deep roots and deeper grudges. But when an eager young intern named Caitlyn stumbles onto something even bigger, Mac realizes the threat isn’t coming from a single boat… it’s part of a generational power play stretching from Key West politics to the dark side of the crab fishery.
As loyalties fracture and the water turns violent, Mac must navigate old feuds, shifting alliances, and a deadly conspiracy rooted in greed and environmental sabotage. With Mel questioning her place in his dangerous world, and Caitlyn proving she may be in way over her head, Mac is forced to choose between the people he loves and the islands he calls home.
In the unforgiving waters of the Florida Keys, even the smallest trap can hide a monster.
Packed with action, authentic Keys flavor, and characters as rough and real as the tides, this new Mac Travis Adventure delivers heart-pounding suspense from the first page to the last.

There is something about the number 3.

The Ancient Greeks believed 3 was the perfect number, and in China 3 has always been a lucky number, and they know a thing or two.

Most religions also have 3 this and 3 that and, of course, in these more modern times, three’s a crowd may be too many, except when it’s a ménage à trois. It seems good things usually come in threes.

Whatever history and culture says WE think 3, a hat-trick of stories, is a great number to explore themes and literary avenues that classic authors were so adept at creating.
