Summary

A customer-centric culture is one in which every employee consistently asks, "How will the decision I am about to make impact our customers' experience?" Not only that, but with the support of their leaders, they know what to do about it.

Eight-time author, experiential learning expert, and CEO of Eagle's Flight, Phil Geldart, shares his insights on what it takes to create an enviable customer experience in his book, "Customer Centricity: A Present and Future Priority." He created this book to help organizations committed to building a singular focus on the customer. It includes practical steps to take, components critical to long-term success, and real-life case studies of a customer-centric culture in action from his team at Eagle's Flight.

Through topics on customer expectations, empowerment, corporate culture, and the role of leadership, Geldart shares the critical factors to consider when building a customer-centric culture. These lessons were learned from building his own customer-centric organization and his 30 years' experience working with organizations to transform company cultures.

By the end of "Customer Centricity: A Present and Future Priority," you will understand what is required to build a customer-centric organization, the pitfalls to avoid, and how to engage the entire organization in providing the kind of customer experience that causes your customers to wish that every organization they dealt with was like yours.

If You Want To Learn How to Get Out of Foreclosure with a Loan Modification, Then Get This Potentially Life Saving Book!
A home loan remodification is a method you may qualify for that allows you to get current again. If you are behind several payments, you may be in fear of foreclosure. Perhaps that process has already been started and you are afraid you will lose your home. A loan remodification can allow you to re-age your loan and get a payment you can afford with your current financial circumstances.
Instead of trying to come up with a lump sum of money to save your home, you only have to focus on being able to meet that monthly mortgage payment. The process to qualify for a home loan remodification takes time and you have to follow the steps or you can be denied for failure to comply.
Once your application is in motion, the foreclosure process will be put on hold. This gives you and the mortgage company time to go through all of the paperwork and see what can be done. Most lenders want to extend a remodification loan to you rather than foreclosure on the property. With that in mind, it is to your advantage to see if you qualify.
    About the Expert
I didn’t know about loan remodification until my home was already in foreclosure. I was trying to explore my options and came across the details. I was frustrated that my mortgage company hadn’t taken the time to share that with me as a possibility. They had no trouble calling me at least twice per week to ask for the full amount I was due. They refused to take payments and didn’t seem to care about the reason why I was getting behind.Armed with information, I called them and asked for a loan remodification application. I am glad I did as it got me back on track with my home loan. I am hopeful this process can do the same for you.

Watts in the Desert - Pioneering...

This unique book offers an introduction to the development of renewable energy in Australia in the early 2000s. Examining the rise of dispersed, embedded solar energy systems in Western Australia, it looks specifically at the Solex project in Carnarvon, WA, which pioneered the harvest of solar energy from what was once considered the pursuit of the lunatic fringes of society to a viable energy source for mainstream society and industry.

In this fascinating case study Fullarton shows how a practical demonstration of innovative existing technology can have an incredible impact on a national scale. The ideas behind the Solex project slowly became adopted by the broader community and were eventually taken up enthusiastically by the general population of Australia.

Analyzing government and utility policies throughout the 2000s, the book traces how ambivalence was followed by wholehearted incentives to the roll-out of alternative energy and subsequent active opposition to alternative energy in favor of traditional fossil fuel as government philosophies changed.

Man has always been a nomad, a restless spirit or a free-spirited species. In very early times, we moved from place to place, from continent to continent, tracking the stars, crossing huge rivers, and following the seasons in our efforts to survive. Before the advent of modern civilization as we know it, it was common for man to travel great swathes of lands and territories. But they didn't remain like that forever, the free-spirited nomadic men; they began to change their orientation. They began to try to find ways to stay in a place longer than usual. They had an urge to own lands, to build a connection to the lands. There was a plea for stability and so any semblance to a regular life, one that does not involve old moving habits, is embraced by us.

We continue to bury our nomadic essence deeper into our core. We spend a lot of our time, energy, and money paying for a lot of things in our possession already. The all too popular culture of getting it now and paying later has been a resonant motto for most men. This exemplifies the way we see the world and our current approach to survival. This speaks to the state of our complacency and our inability to remove ourselves from our self-inflicted burdens of excruciating debts and our monotonous 9-5 daily obligations. But not everybody wants to live that way: It is about having a newfound freedom, working with no boundaries or borders. The ability to finally live and work from any workstation in the world. It is called being a digital nomad.
