Why do some books attract readers while others don’t? What are the essential qualities of an irresistible read, a story people can't wait to start? And what’s the secret to attracting a literary agent or publishing deal? The answer to all three questions is: Premise. A powerful premise is what separates ordinary novels from bestsellers. William Bernhardt explains the essential elements of breakout books, stories that reel in readers and attract serious attention. He discusses all the essential elements: originality, high stakes, believability, inescapable conflict, emotional appeal, and others. Plus, in the final chapter, Bernhardt explains how to turn your powerful premise into a winning pitch to attract agents and editors.
William Bernhardt is the bestselling author of more than thirty books, including the blockbuster Ben Kincaid novels and Nemesis: The Final Case of Eliot Ness. He is the only person to have received the Southern Writers Gold Medal Award, the Royden B. Davis Distinguished Author Award (U Penn) and the H. Louise Cobb Distinguished Author Award (OSU), which is given "in recognition of an outstanding body of work that has profoundly influenced the way in which we understand ourselves and American society at large."

Warning! This is a summary, intended to rebut A Promised Land, the top-selling non-fiction book in 2020, not to replace it. You get much more material to dispute his claims about his legacy and address the scandals he left out. Obama's time in prep school showed more passion for his jump-shot and partying than studying. We experience his college years under the admitted influence of Marxism, and into Harvard Law and the alleged arrangement to become the President of the Law Review-- which would launch his political career with a rigged write-up in The NY Times. We sample his rapid rise to the Senate, and then the Presidency under the tutelage of Deep State communist professionals like David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett. Favored candidates, even incumbents, step aside or hand him their campaign, and dirt leaked from sealed court documents, at just the right time, buries his opponents. His path to the Presidency miraculously cleared, he finds the keynote tossed at his feet by John Kerry at the DNC to make him famous. John Kerry’s staff infuses his campaign. John McCain ensures Obama’s success by refusing to campaign in MIchigan. Obama spends more than all other previous Presidents combined, and harms America in doing so.
Obama reveals compromising situations and connections, arousing more suspicion, Brief and interspersed negative comments, clearly marked in Section One, catalyze a full-throttle rebuttal in Section Two, Obama not only left out key facts, like that his family had strong communist ties, or that he governed under the influence of Zbigniew Brzezinski, Iranian Islamist Valerie Jarrett, Rahm Emanuel, and Jesse Jackson. Obama, according to Pulitzer-prize-winning author Seymore Hersh, lied about his alleged killing of Osama bin Laden for a boost in the polls. The Rebuttal proves itself to be well documented and bulletproof. Obama, and his arranged mate and children, proved not to be what they seem.

Hippocrates revolutionized the study of medicine in Ancient Greece, but some of his ideas still influence the medical field today. In his book On Ulcers, Hippocrates details the recommended treatment for this ailment. While modern medicine has moved beyond using honey, boiled leaves, and white wine to treat ulcers, Hippocrates’ advice on diet and rest hold true. This text is a fascinating read for anyone interested in the historical development of medical practices.

    1) Over the last four decades, salt, sugar, and fat have enabled the food industry to engineer goods that are extremely appealing. Brilliant marketing strategies manipulated our emotions, convincing us to eat even though we weren't hungry.
    2) Given what we've discovered about other drugs and behaviors, we need to study and explore the true danger of food and see if addiction is the right way to think about our problems with nutrition.

This is a 2-book bundle, consisting of these books:
Book 1: Are all serial killers the same, or do they have different motives, methods, or origins?

In this guide, we will answer those questions in the first chapter. You will learn about the background of serial killers, their childhood, and their thirst for blood. You will see that they are as different as the colors of the rainbow. They come in all shapes and sizes.
Book 2: Are there sociopaths in your life? You bet! You may not recognize them, or they may not be serial killers. Perhaps they are not causing any trouble at all. But to know what to look for, is pretty important, if you ask me. It’s interesting that some people just don’t have that much of a conscience. And every person chooses how to deal with that differently. It can reflect on their actions in different ways.
