Summary

Didrik would do anything for his best friend, Filip, including taking pictures of Filip's dad, Johan, for a charity calendar. Naked pictures, of beautiful, irresistible, wonderful Johan, who was single-handedly responsible for Didrik's gay awakening. He was also happily married and unavailable ... until he wasn't.

After losing his husband five years ago, Johan finally seems ready to move on, and as they start the charity project, everything changes. With every meeting, every conversation, every pose for the camera, the attraction between them swells and grows, until it burns hot and threatens to consume them.

Their interactions, their relationship is surprisingly easy, but it's not without its challenges. The age difference for one thing. Telling Filip for another. Is their connection enough to last? Can they overcome the hurdles to get the happily ever after they deserve?

Trevor Dunn has never gone to the Calgary Stampede. In spite of living in the city all his life, he would much rather stay in his basement and listen to music while drawing comics. When his sister Madeline tricks him to come to the Stampede's opening parade, Trevor believes this is a temporary event ... until he sees a man in a green cowboy hat named Charlie.

Over the next few days, Charlie changes Trevor's mind about the Stampede, about country music, and what being a cowboy is really about. When an old flame from Trevor's past -- Mathieu, a punk singer turned acoustic country crooner -- appears in the middle of the festival, Trevor isn't sure what to do. He likes Charlie and the new life he's been shown, but Mathieu is Trevor's first love, and the one person who understands what life is really like in Calgary basements.

The Stampede, Madeline reminds Trevor, is only a ten day affair, then Charlie will go back to his job in Toronto and Mathieu will go on tour. Should Trevor try to make amends with Mathieu and his past, or should he stay with Charlie and embrace a new kind of future? Can there be life outside of Calgary basements? Or will Trevor always be stuck in the shadows, never riding off into the sunset?

I wish I knew why I was born with the mark of a half-moon, but I was abandoned at the edge of a forest as a baby. Leading my forest army into war and fighting for my people is all that matters. I don't need family and friends because I love my bow and arrow and I certainly don't have time for relationships or sex.

At least, it's how things used to be. Nothing has been the same ever since the pretty witch Marwa chased me until we fought. Now I can't sleep without thinking about how she kissed me or the embarrassing way she played with my body. And I allowed her to do those things! I should be ashamed of myself, but I can't stop thinking about her.

There's more. The river and trees are dying and the moon had cracked into two. Everyone says the witches are to blame. How can the rift be healed? My people and Marwa's have been enemies since time began. Is it too late to stop the rot?

There is now a pack of gay wolf shifters with their own territory, something that would have been unimaginable when he left. Pack and family come first. Evan Steele knows that, and because of it, he lived a lie for years. He did things he regrets on the pack leader’s orders. Now, he’s put as much distance as he can between his past and his present. To humans, he is successful and confident.
But he hates shifting. He hates running on four feet.
When his past turns up at his door in the form of an anonymous hook-up, Evan’s lies come unstuck, and he’ll have to choose between putting himself first or obeying the pack who will hate him if they knew the truth.
This is the final book in the mm wolf shifter Outcast Pack series.

Giant magical snails aren't exactly at the top of the list of heroic quests. But the village of Dun Nas needs help, and Aric needs money: being a legendary swordsman might be nice, but so is getting paid. Anyway, snails -- even giant ones -- aren't anything he can't handle, especially with his half-fairy partner Emrys. Together, the Storm-Wielder and the Shadow can fight anything, or so the stories say.

But this job's more complicated than it seems. The lake holds a dangerous magical mystery. Aric trusts Emrys with his life -- but he'd also love to offer his heart, and he doesn't know whether Em feels the same. Em isn't human, after all ... and has a few secrets of their own.

An ocean divides them. Can their love survive the battles to come?
Arthur Courtney is a commander without a ship and without purpose. So when old friend Captain Henry Harrison offers him a place onboard HMS Lion, bound to join Nelson’s fleet in the Mediterranean, he is eager for the opportunity.

But onboard discipline has broken down; Harrison is not the captain he once was. Added to this, Courtney has agreed to a troubling deal in order to serve: marriage to Harrison’s sister-in-law, Tabitha Sandham. He fears he will have to choose between his career and his love for Hiram Nightingale.

In England, Nightingale’s life is shaken by the death of his father and by the re-appearance of the Lion, the ship that caused him such pain. When threatening notes are received at his and Courtney’s cottage on the Isle of Wight, he vows to find out the truth behind them.

But it appears there is more trouble on the island than simply the threatening messages. So while Courtney defends the sea, Nightingale must help protect England’s shores from calamity.

A stunning and romantic historical adventure of the sea from the author of Leeward, a Times Historical Novel of the Year 2023.
