Summary

This is a healthy weight loss book that will teach you about building habits for both the mind and the body. When it comes to weight loss, many of us tend to be guilty of many different so-called “sins” that we commit in an attempt to shed off the pounds as quickly as possible. However, this urgent mindset actually causes more harm than good. Think back to all the fad diets you’ve tried before; all those detox teas, various shakes and drinks, as well as magic pills that promised plenty but delivered little to none. In many cases, you ended up gaining all the weight you’ve lost. The big question is WHY? Why do you keep failing and why do you keep gaining back the lost weight? The answer is simple: It’s because of your approach towards weight loss. In wanting to quickly lose weight in time for a vacation or a family holiday, you forego considering the bigger picture. You’re only thinking about the numbers without giving much thought to your health on a more holistic level. The fact is, the most effective weight loss often comes as a natural result of lifestyle changes and bettering your overall relationship with food.

What You Will Learn

A FLUFF-FREE guide that will teach you misconceptions and myths about nutrition that you may have picked up throughout your own diet journey. You will be provided with ample information to help you move forward and progress when it comes to your weight loss goals. You will learn more about the mental side of weight loss—how our habits and mindset influence our weight loss journey. You will learn how losing weight isn’t just a matter of restricting your food intake or incorporating more physical activity. It is also about becoming more disciplined, developing better habits, and setting up systems that support your goals. You will learn different concepts from Eastern alternative medicine, which includes TCM or traditional Chinese medicine. Through this course, you will learn how to reconcile those concepts with ones from western nutrition. The idea is that our mind and thoughts are both important towards our overall well-being and weight loss. This is something that most diet programs don’t even discuss. For example, were you aware that each time you get angry, you are also hurting your liver? Simple as that may seem, it can have multiple health-related side effects that you must be mindful of.

The true law of success is taught, which is the law of harmonious attraction. Under this law, things come to us because they want to come and not because we make them come; they remain with us because they want to do so. Instead of working to control the other fellow, we learn to control ourselves and become so strong, powerful and harmonious in our attractive power that the things we want will want us so much that they cannot stay away.

WHY I WROTE THIS BOOKEvery person deserves to live the life that they want to live, without judgment, jealousy or fear. I have seen so many talented people fall short of their potential and it is usually because of other people’s expectations, or the need to conform to society or the fear of failure and in rare cases a fear of success. We all need to protect our joy, otherwise it can be stolen from us in an instant. The story of Alice is etched into my mind.Alice (not her real name-as I know that she would like this to remain private), lived in state housing with her family, her husband and two children and is the main income earner. One day she thought to herself, “Wouldn’t it be great to own our own home” and so she asked payroll to take some money out of her pay each week, so that she could surprise her family and buy the house that she lived in from the Government. They had lived there for so long that the price was discounted and affordable, and she felt it was her opportunity to use some of the money she earned to secure her future. Alice saved for years and did not tell anyone about her plans, - I don’t know how she kept it secret for so long. Sadly, when Alice was close to her savings goal she could not keep it to herself, she was so filled with joy at her achievement, that Alice told her husband. He told his family and within a week everyone asked her for money and by the end of the month, she had nothing left. Alice told me that she would never save again, and I could see the sadness in her eyes, and I knew that her ‘joy had been stolen’. Alice had been made to feel guilty about having money and was then shamed by people who were supposed to love her into helping ixthem with their problems. Alice could not say no; she was made to feel guilty and ended up letting her dream slip away.Alice’s joy was taken away from her, all because she allowed people to take it from her.

With 275 million impacted worldwide, UNICEF calls childhood domestic violence "One of the most damaging, unaddressed human rights violations in the world today."In her early thirties, Renesia Martin seemed to have it all together. She was thriving in her corporate career, and she was married to an outgoing and handsome man, in a beautiful home in an upper-class neighborhood. Yet, behind closed doors she was living in the cycle of abuse."Don't Hit My Mama" is a memoir where Renesia recounts what she saw, heard and felt as a child-witness of domestic violence, and how it impacted her early development and later in life as an adult. In addition, she openly shares the process she went through to bring restoration and healing, first to herself, and ultimately, to her family.**Don't live in the cycle of domestic violence another day. You can break the cycle.**

Email productivity has gradually become one of the leading areas of research in human-computer interaction due to increasing email users. With the rapid advancement in the field of communication, email has started to play a central role in business communication. According to a research report, email volume is growing at a speed of nearly 15pc per year1. However, increased reliance on email has resulted in the proliferation of messages in the mail-boxes.
Consequently, this has engendered a variety of issues for email users. For instance, health issues, lack of time management, opportunity cost, and other problems. But, these problems can be overcome by taking multi-pronged remedial measures for increasing efficiency in managing email. Several writers have suggested their own methods for increasing email productivity; however, these methods can be categorized into three groups: email management techniques for the individual employee, plans for the organization or the employer, and inbox usability improvements by the software programmer.
