Under assault by the criminal underworld, two cops strike backThey call him the Alien. A petty hood with a habit of battering his enemies with a baseball bat, he earned his name for carrying out a hit while watching Ridley Scott’s sci-fi classic—and sticking around to finish the film afterwards. The Alien’s latest target is Detective Sergeant Brant, an old-fashioned policeman whose easy brutality has won him no love on London’s south side. The Alien breaks into Brant’s flat, clobbers him with his Louisville slugger, and tortures him until he passes out. When Brant awakes, the Alien is gone, and the cop has a thirst for blood. With the help of his partner, the cancer-stricken Chief Inspector Roberts, Brant will lay waste to London. But when his vendetta leads to something more fearsome than a bat-wielding psychopath, he’ll wonder if perhaps he should have stayed on the floor.

Nonverbal communication expert Doctor Genevieve Lenard is on holiday in Hungary when she and her team are asked to assist in a missing person case. Her autistic mind is already having difficulties dealing with the new environment, and having to co-operate with local authorities might push her past her limits. Even more so when the missing person turns out to be an important, and painful, part of a team member’s past.
The seemingly simple case takes a gruesome turn as their search uncovers artwork drenched in violent history, numerous deaths presumed to be by natural causes and the menacing online presence of a serial killer who’s been cyber-stalking victims for years. Bodies are piling up at an alarming rate and, knowing that one of their own is in the killer’s sights, Genevieve will have to use all her inner strength and expertise to stop this ruthless murderer.

To save a city that’s corrupt to its core, the Executioner launches a quiet assault San Diego has one of the finest harbors in the world, easy access to Mexico, and more federal dollars than anywhere else in the country. This combination has made it irresistible to the mob, which runs the city from top to bottom. In his one-man war against organized crime, Mack Bolan has never considered targeting San Diego. The city is too sick to save.   Mack’s old commander from Vietnam is in trouble with the San Diego syndicate, and only the Executioner can save him. Once, Mack would have given anything for Howlin’ Harlan Winters, but he’s not sure he can trust him anymore. Taking down the San Diego mob will require a different kind of battle—a silent infiltration and a surgical assault. To back himself up, Bolan recruits the two surviving members of his long-disbanded Death Squad. If San Diego cannot be saved, it will have to be destroyed.
