This is a summary of Andy Weir's sci-fi thriller Project Hail Mary, which is about scientific research, evolution, interstellar exploration, and a lone astronaut on a mission to save the world. With only his crewmates' dead bodies for the company and his memories slowly returning, he must piece together what has happened and complete his interstellar mission to save humanity. Weir does an excellent job of explaining everything in a way that includes a thorough explanation of the science behind it while remaining very accessible and narratively interesting. In that regard, this book is outstanding. If you listen to this book, you're bound to learn a few interesting science facts!
