Summary

The latest edition of this bestselling biography as Luca Caioli continues to follow his most controversial subject yet - Barcelona, Uruguay and former Liverpool forward Luis Suárez.
Appearing to be an almost entirely reformed character, having scored an astonishing 31 times in 2013/14 as Liverpool narrowly missed out on their first league title in decades, Suárez dramatically regressed in the World Cup of 2014. One moment of madness, biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini, saw these favourable comparisons to Messi and Ronaldo once again overshadowed by those with Jekyll and Hyde.
Acclaimed football biographer Luca Caioli provides an in-depth look at one of football’s most enigmatic characters, as he attempted to shift the focus back towards his football with Barcelona in the 2014/15 season.

I have tried to show people of all ages the benefits of tennis. It is a spring board to almost any other sport or activity one may pursue. I started competing in a wide range of sports at an early age. Tennis combines the best for all sports. The movement on the court is up, back, side to side, reaching and the use of both hands. This also includes strategy and endurance. In singles one is out there by themselves and the result comes based upon how much the individual works. Nothing worthwhile comes easy.

It is this experience combined with my love of teaching that I want to get across to the reader. Tennis is a great life lesson but should be fun. It also can be played by all ages, regardless of skill or ailments. There are too many things that we have to do, tennis should not be one of them.

    Enjoy the game.

Tennis is awareness. This study of technical, strategical, tactical, physical and mental awareness, as
well as that of a person’s own personality, is the common theme of each chapter of this book and in every approach I take to coaching.
Tennis exposes strengths and weaknesses. It is an equalizer, putting everyone on equal footing. On the court, there is no one you can ask for help.
There is only you, your abilities and your experience in an unpredictable situation, where the only certainty is the awareness forged by experience.
I took my inspiration from the Spanish Method of Luis Bruguera for who needs certainties and solid points, to the development of stances and podalic proprioceptivity of S. Sosa and A. Musulin, fundamental for a solid technique. Visual training analysis by postural and behavioral optometrist is
the starting point to search motorial awareness. Chapters about psychomotor development analyze motor literacy building in which you can grasp that you can’t omit any letter. Criticalities in losses of balance accustom to adapt yourself to any situation E. Meyer affirms. American methodology by G. Jaramillo suggests the monothematic approach to automate learning.
My work is also founded on my studies in Sport Science, following in-depth study and then, more importantly, on testing – first on myself and then on thousands of athletes that have truly brought “The game of awareness” to life.
