Summary

What happens when a closeted lesbian fairy tale princess falls in love with a WITCH instead of the handsome prince she's destined to marry? This is Mary Melancholy's story.

Princess Mary Melancholy has no idea how to be happy. Self-conscious and socially awkward, all she really wants is to believe in something the way everyone else does. Her royal troubles abound since she's engaged to be married as part of a peace treaty between two warring kings.

Mary meets a witch named Salem who is cantankerous, bawdy and banned from the land because of her evil intentions. But when Salem accidentally kisses the princess and they both feel a spark of attraction, a forbidden romance begins that threatens the future of two kingdoms.

Will Mary choose love and scandalize the family as The Evil Princess or accept responsibility and protect her people? This is Book 1 in "The End of the Magical Kingdom", an interrelated series of four fairy tale parody novels encompassing four kingdoms in the cartoon land of Cadabra.
Available since: 09/16/2015.

Uncle Remus' stories feature a trickster hero called Br'er Rabbit ("Brother" Rabbit), who uses his wits to slide out of trouble and gain the advantage over the slower witted other animals, many of whom are trying to eat him. Br'er Rabbit stories were mostly collected directly from the afro-american oral story-telling tradition and are said to be a direct interpretation of Yoruba tales of Hare. This book contains 11 unique stories and was the last one published before the author's death. (Introduction by Phil Chenevert)

    Who Is Johnny Two Kebabs?
There has been much speculation in recent years as to whether Johnny Two Kebabs really exists. Is it true that on 15th June 2011 after drinking 13 pints of lager he polished off two doner kebabs in 1 minute 59 seconds? Is Johnny Two Kebabs just an urban legend? Is the song that was written about him and for which the video appears on the internet just in the tradition of Irish blarney and storytelling? Is it a type of Celtic mythology about larger than life figures? Were the comics which mysteriously appeared on the Internet in 2020 just fake news? Now, at last, in his own words, Johnny Two Kebabs comes clean and in this volume he recounts how he foiled a Russian assassination in the UK.
Johnny writes candidly about his experiences in the high stakes world of international intrigue and international seduction. He pulls no punches in his exposé of London’s dark underworld with its assassins, Irish pubs, kebab shops and cans of super-strength lager or as Johnny calls it “The golden nectar that makes life worth living”.

Paul Brock may have written a great book, but it isn’t until impresario Mel Steiner gets ahold of him that he discovers what it really takes to be the Great American NovelistBy the time Paul Brock finishes his first novel, he has already lived half his life: He has a wife, kids, and a career writing movie scripts. So to fulfill his dreams of becoming a Novelist with a capital N, he has to go big, and that means turning to his star-maker friend, Mel Steiner. Soon Brock has a team of trainers, a stage show, a signature look, and even a movie deal. Self-respect, however, remains elusive. The Big Hype is a rapier-sharp takedown of the book industry, and a brilliantly funny premonition of how authorship and celebrity culture have become dangerously intertwined. This ebook features an illustrated biography of Avery Corman, including rare images from the author’s personal collection.
