Summary

Great assets are ignorantly decaying in the hands of too many poor people yet they cry for want of money. I once found myself in this confusion in the past until God helped and delivered me with this illumination. I was full of life changing abilities worth fortune yet was also full of unmet needs. It is true that there will always be a reasonable alternative for those who choose to be dependent on other people's success. Majority of God's people are victims of this myopic philosophy. There is a way to unlock your own wealth, it only requires some level of responsibility.
Every man created by God is richly endowed by his creator but the problem has always been the same; it's a depraved mind. Not being able to measure the worth of there own divine gifts. Many regard themselves as nothing, therefore, offering the services of great fortune for free. They pray for God's blessing and many times beg for favour from the rich who demanded the worth of there own talent. I discovered that virtually in very many different fields of life there are many successful people.
Life is relational and every one is created a solution worth a fortune. But only those who regard their gift from the creator and honour it by placing a demand on it are paid its full worth. There is not a soul that was created to be poor but there are surely those who are giving greater opportunity by reason of their talent to get more money. If everyone understands this they won't accept poverty as a status or an identity. Some poor people will not believe it if they are told that they have what it takes to be richer than the richest of their generation.
This book, 'Make the Money You Merit' teaches you about the money within you that was given to you by nature (God). It is called talent and it is on the inside of everyone born of a woman. It is your responsibility to discover, develop and demonstrate it for all men to enjoy and give back to you its full worth. There are many who have arrived into wealth that doesn't know the purpose of wealth and others who are pursuing wealth who need to understand 'why wealth' before 'how to get wealth'.
Study this book with the mind of a researcher and I trust God to help you find the truth that will enable you to begin to do exploit with the gifts in you. You have all the money you need to finance or sponsor any project in your life no matter how big, but they are locked up in the inside of you. Get ready to obtain your money, the understanding needed to deliver it to you is what you have in your hand right now. Go ahead and receive it, it's your merit.

The business world is desperate for leaders. Books and courses on leadership flood the market as companies search in vain for that one person who can make sense of their rapidly changing environment through assertiveness, charisma, and control. According to noted consultant Harrison Owen, our inability to locate such a person isn't the fault of our leaders, it's the fault of our expectations. In today's world where chaos is "normal" and paradoxes can't be resolved, such old-style leaders no longer offer the solution. Today's world requires inspired leadership from all levels of the organization. "Inspired leadership" literally means in-spirited leadership, and this book explores the intimate connection between spirit and leadership it implies. It presents the radical notion that spirit is the most important ingredient of any organization and that leadership means opening space for that spirit to show up in powerful and productive ways. The Spirit of Leadership lays out the New Rules of Leadership, rules which surprisingly turnOl organizations have always played by. For the keys to these new rules, the book turns to those who have always successfully operated apart from the levers of formal power and authority-women. Offering lessons from effective female strategies, it reveals the true functions of leadership: to evoke, grow, sustain, comfort, and raise the spirit. Not to be confused with morale building, motivational techniques, or even the current fad of spirituality in business, The Spirit of Leadership digs deeper to show that, at its essence, leadership is our link to deep inner forces. It provides practical steps readers can use to uncover their own capacity for leadership in whatever position they find themselves, and to exercise that capacity both to enhance the performance of their organizations and to find their own fulfillment as complete human beings.

The “best all-around book yet on fracking” (San Francisco Chronicle) from a Pulitzer Prize finalist: “Gold's work is a tour de force of contemporary journalism” (Booklist).First invented in 1947, hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, has not only become a major source of energy, it is changing the way we use energy, and the energy we use. It is both a threat and a godsend for the environment, and it is leading the revival of manufacturing in the United States. A definitive narrative history, The Boom follows the twists and turns in the development and adoption of this radical technology. It is a thrilling journey filled with colorful characters: the green-minded Texas oilman who created the first modern frack; a bare-knuckled Oklahoman natural gas empire-builder who gave the world an enormous new supply of energy and was brought down by his own success and excesses; an environmental leader whose embrace of fracking brought an end to his public career; and an aging fracking pioneer who is now trying to save the industry from itself. A fascinating and exciting exploration of one of the most controversial and promising sources of energy, The Boom “brings new clarity to a subject awash in hype from all sides…a thoughtful, well-written, and carefully researched book that provides the best overview yet of the pros and cons of fracking. Gold quietly leads both supporters and critics of drilling to consider other views” (Associated Press).

The 10 Laws of Trust - Building...

Because of trust in leadership, in each other, and in the mission, a tiny company like John Deere grew into a worldwide leader. On the opposite spectrum, a lack of trust is what eventually sank the seemingly unsinkable corporation of Enron.
A culture of trust for all companies large and small is invaluable. Trust turns deflection into transparency, suspicion into empowerment, and conflict into creativity. And what many have learned unfortunately is that no enterprise is too large or too successful to withstand a lack of trust within its walls.
In The 10 Laws of Trust, JetBlue chairman and Stanford Graduate School of Business professor Joel Peterson explores how a culture of trust gives companies an edge. Consider this: What does it feel like to work for a firm where leaders and colleagues trust one another? Peterson has found that, when freed from micromanagement and rivalry, every employee contributes his or her best. Risk taking and innovation become the norm.
In clear, engaging prose, highlighted by compelling examples, Peterson details how to establish and maintain a culture of trust, including:Start with integrityInvest in respectEmpower everyoneRequire accountabilityKeep everyone informedAnd much more!

As Peterson notes, “When a company has a reputation for fair dealing, its costs drop: Trust cuts the time spent second-guessing and lawyering.” With this indispensable resource for businesses large and small, you will learn how to plant the seeds of trust throughout your organization--and reap the rewards of reputation, profits, and success!

    Fentanyl Inc - How Rogue...

    Ben Westhoff

A four-year investigation into the world of synthetic drugs—from black market factories to users & dealers to harm reduction activists—and what it revealed. A deeply human story, Fentanyl, Inc. is the first deep-dive investigation of a hazardous and illicit industry that has created a worldwide epidemic, ravaging communities and overwhelming and confounding government agencies that are challenged to combat it. “A whole new crop of chemicals is radically changing the recreational drug landscape,” writes Ben Westhoff. “These are known as Novel Psychoactive Substances (NPS) and they include replacements for known drugs like heroin, cocaine, ecstasy, and marijuana. They are synthetic, made in a laboratory, and are much more potent than traditional drugs” —and all-too-often tragically lethal. Drugs like fentanyl, K2, and Spice—and those with arcane acronyms like 25i-NBOMe—were all originally conceived in legitimate laboratories for proper scientific and medicinal purposes. Their formulas were then hijacked and manufactured by rogue chemists, largely in China, who change their molecular structures to stay ahead of the law, making the drugs’ effects impossible to predict. Westhoff has infiltrated this shadowy world. He tracks down the little-known scientists who invented these drugs and inadvertently killed thousands, as well as a mysterious drug baron who turned the law upside down in his home country of New Zealand. Westhoff visits the shady factories in China from which these drugs emanate, providing startling and original reporting on how China’s vast chemical industry operates, and how the Chinese government subsidizes it. Poignantly, he chronicles the lives of addicted users and dealers, families of victims, law enforcement officers, and underground drug awareness organizers in the United States and Europe. Together they represent the shocking and riveting full anatomy of a calamity we are just beginning to understand. From its depths, as Westhoff relates, are emerging new strategies that may provide essential long-term solutions to the drug crisis that has affected so many.“Timely and agonizing. . . . An impressive work of investigative journalism.” —USA Today“Westhoff explores the many-tentacled world of illicit opioids, from the streets of East St. Louis to Chinese pharmaceutical companies, from music festivals deep in the Michigan woods to sanctioned ‘shooting up rooms’ in Barcelona, in this frank, insightful, and occasionally searing exposé. . . .
