Summary

The lovely Chrissie and Susannah are lured into a world of submission and servitude. They’re to be trained as human canines, subjected to a strict regimen, profound humiliation and a unique breeding program. Susannah is sent by her parents to the Septimus Grey Academy where corporal punishment is part of the curriculum, meanwhile Chrissie is seduced by the dishy Andy Scates, who makes this willing young woman crawl at his feet, call him master and submit to other men. When Andy moves the dominant Emma into his flat, she quickly becomes "Mistress Emma" to the surrendering Chrissie. As the painstaking training continues, their passion for submission is about to take some shocking turns. Soon, they'll be no more than canine bitches who serve for the amusement of the masters and mistresses that own them.

Tandy has a big problem. She stands to inherit a huge estate and the title of her late aunt but in order to prove herself worthy of the exulted position and the money that comes with it, Tandy must train her first slave. And the slave she is given to train is huge - a muscular Hybrid Kindred with rage dancing in his mismatched eyes and fangs long enough to tear her throat out. How can she possibly subdue such a massive male without losing her life? Then Tandy has an idea - in the dead of night she steals down to her new slave’s cell to offer him a deal.

    Quid-pro-quo...

Vrox is enraged to be stuck in this situation. Captured by accident, he is determined to kill whoever tries to enslave him and escape at the first opportunity. But then the curvy little female who bought him offers him a deal - if he will pretend that she has mastered him, she will give him his freedom along with a generous settlement. Vrox is intrigued by the deal but he puts his own spin on the bargain. Whatever Tandy does to him by day to prove that she is a true Mistress, he is allowed to do to her by night, in the privacy of her quarters - including any kind of sexual punishment or mastery.

Feeling she has no choice, Tandy agrees to the huge Hybrid’s terms - never expecting to lose her heart. She thinks Vrox cares for her too, but when the huge Kindred escapes and she is left to face the consequences of their deception alone, she fears that her life is over. Will she survive after...handling the hybrid?

    Jerzy Kosinski

This National Book Award–winning novel of power, libido, and morality is “a powerful and profoundly disturbing book” (The New York Times).   First published in 1968, Jerzy Kosinski’s classic vision of moral and sexual estrangement captured the deviant undercurrents of the era’s politics and culture. In this haunting novel, distinctions are eroded between oppressor and oppressed, perpetrator and victim, narcissism and anonymity. Kosinski portrays men and women both aroused and desensitized by an environment that disdains the individual and seeks control over the imagination.   “Céline and Kafka stand behind this accomplished art” from the celebrated author of The Painted Bird and Being There (The New York Times Book Review).   “A collection of unbelievably creepy little allegorical tableaux done in a terse elegant voice that’s like nothing else anywhere ever.” —David Foster Wallace   “Kosinski’s prose is perfect to his purpose, efficient, detached, lucid as a gem, wholly in command.” —The New York Times   “By some miracle of training, which recalls the linguistic bravado of Conrad and Nabokov, he is already a master of pungent and disciplined English prose. Simply as a stylist, Kosinski has few equals among American novelists born to the language. And I have also become convinced, after reading Steps, that he is one of the most gifted new figures to appear in our literature for some years.” —Irving Howe, Harper’s   “A beautifully written book. It is precise, scrupulous, and poetic. I can think of few writers who are able to so persuasively describe an event, set a scene, communicate an emotion.” —Geoffrey Wolff, New Leader

My Secret Life, the gargantuan erotic autobiography of a wealthy Victorian English gentleman has been described as 'the strangest book ever written'. Comprising one-hundred-and-eighty-four chapters and over one million words, the epic confessional describes in eloquent and explicit detail the exploits of a man (who refers to himself simply as 'Walter'), whose life was devoted to the pursuit of erotic adventure and carnal pleasure.
Now for the first time in the history of this infamous erotic masterpiece, film composer Dominic Crawford Collins is producing a fully scored narration of the complete unabridged text. More 'audiofilm' than audiobook, each chapter and scene has its own unique musical accompaniment, reflecting the author's changing emotional landscape and offering the listener a truly immersive erotic audio experience.
Chapter Four: My first frig.—My godfather.—Meditations on copulation.—Male and female aromas.—Maid and gardener.—My father dies.—A wet dream.—Bilked by a whore.

“Come on, sis,” Cathy said. “It was all spontaneous, you know? It really has been quite a long time since I last seen your husband.”
“I agree it has. But you know he is just coming back from work, don’t you? Why don’t you let him at least come into the house before you start catching up on whatever it is you want to catch up on?”
Cathy turned to Morgan with a smile. “Your wife is right. Sorry Morgan.”
Morgan came into the house and hugged his wife. There was no doubt that there was a big difference. Unlike when he had held onto Cathy’s supple body, he was not having any lewd and naughty thoughts going on in his head.
He was still thinking of Cathy’s body when his wife broke away from him. She regarded him with a frown. “What is wrong with you?”
He blinked. “Me? I don’t understand.”
    “You don’t understand?”
    “No. Seriously, I don’t.”
