Leo Tolstoy is one of the most famous Russian writers and thinkers and is considered one of the greatest writers in the world. "The Two Brothers and the Gold" is a story of Athanasius and John, who disinterestedly helped the poor and infirm. Once they found a pile of gold and show different attitude to it. The younger John refuses to take the gold, whereas the older Athanasius uses it to help as many people as possible.
