Summary

A Frost spirit who runs a coffee shop. A Cupid who works as a divorce lawyer. And magic in the air ...
Raine's never been a conventional Cupid. He likes organization, his job as a successful lawyer, and black coffee, and he dislikes messiness, physical and emotional. He tries hard not to use his powers, because he'd rather not manipulate anyone's desires, and he's not planning to fall in love himself -- and he wouldn't trust it if someone fell in love with him. But the owner of Raine's favorite coffee shop is endlessly patient, kind even in the face of sarcasm, and an artist with flavors and window decorations ... and he could even challenge Raine's resolutions about love.
Don enjoys his life. Even though he's a Frost, he finds comfort in giving people warmth: good coffee, a cozy refuge from the rain, holiday decorations, and overall cheer. But one gorgeous Cupid seems immune to Don's cheerfulness -- and he keeps coming back, day after day. Fortunately, Don's always liked a challenge, and now he's determined to make Raine smile at least once ... and he's discovering that Raine's sarcasm hides a generous and lonely heart, keeping the world at bay.
And if Don and Raine can learn to trust each other -- with new coffee flavors, with their hopes for the future, and with their hearts -- the Frost and the Cupid just might find their own magical happy ending.

Christopher Worthington thought pushing his friend Alex Breschi at his former Dom would be a good way to introduce Alex to the BDSM lifestyle he was involved in, as well as create another barrier in his heart between himself and the man he had been half in love with for years, Mahiro Seta. But when Chris sees how much Alex and Mahiro have fallen for each other at a play party, he realizes any chance he ever had at a relationship with Mahiro was dead forever.
Into his maudlin thoughts walks Adam Wa, Mahiro's best friend and roommate, and someone Chris has known for years, but had never quite gotten to know. Adam seems to know just what Chris is longing for, perhaps because Adam has been longing for Chris himself.
Ever wondered what happened to Adam and Chris after the party in Florentine? Here's your answer.

This is a book written primarily for gay Christians and those who love them. Part memoir, part pastoral-theological reflection, this book wrestles with three main areas of struggle that many gay Christians face: (1) What is God’s will for sexuality? (2) If the historic Christian tradition is right and same-sex behavior is ruled out, how should gay Christians deal with their resulting loneliness? (3) How can gay Christians come to an experience of grace that rescues them from crippling feelings of shame and guilt?Author Wesley Hill is not advocating that it is possible for every gay Christian to become straight, nor is he saying that God affirms homosexuality. Instead, Hill comes alongside gay Christians and says, “You are not alone. Here is my experience; it’s like yours. And God is with us. We can share in God’s grace.” While some authors profess a deep faith in Christ and claim a powerful experience of the Holy Spirit precisely in and through their homosexual practice, Hill’s own story, by contrast, is a story of feeling spiritually hindered, rather than helped, by his homosexuality. His story testifies that homosexuality was not God’s original creative intention for humanity—that it is, on the contrary, a tragic sign of human nature and relationships being fractured by sin—and therefore that homosexual practice goes against God’s express will for all human beings, especially those who trust in Christ. This book is written mainly for those homosexual Christians who are trying to walk the narrow path of celibacy and are convinced that their discipleship to Jesus necessarily commits them to the demanding, costly obedience of choosing not to nurture their homosexual desires. With reflections from the lives of Henri Nouwen and Gerard Manley Hopkins, Wesley Hill encourages and challenges Christians with homosexual desires to live faithful to God’s plan for human sexuality.

Things I like: bitter coffee, competency…oh and the guy that breezes into my coffee shop like a shot of espresso—bold, invigorating, and impossible to ignore.
Running Bittersweet has been nothing short of a rollercoaster—and not the fun kind. Between kitchen fires and unreliable helpers, I've been on a first-name basis with disaster.
    Enter Constantine.
With his teenage brother in tow, Constantine whips up pastries with an expertise that leaves me both impressed and intrigued.
But it's not just his skills that catch my attention. Constantine brings a new dynamic to my life, forcing me to rethink my priorities.
Could it be that amidst the chaos, I've found something, or someone, worth holding onto?

Spirit Deaconson has always lived between two worlds. He is gay and he is Christian. In a congregation where prayer chains spread faster than gossip and every church lady thinks she is a matchmaking prophet, Spirit has learned to survive with equal parts humor and grace. But when Evan, the new worship guitarist with a smile that should be illegal, steps into his life, Spirit's carefully balanced routine spirals into glorious chaos. Coffee shop interrogations, youth group disasters, and a runaway rumor about a fiancée he definitely does not have push him deeper into the kind of trouble only church folk can create.
As the whispers grow louder and the accidental courtship gets harder to deny, Spirit is forced to confront what he truly wants and whether faith and love can finally coexist in the same pew. Can Spirit trust that his heart has a place in the life he has built, or will the truth he has been avoiding turn everything upside down?
When the whole congregation has decided this is a love story, will Spirit Deaconson find the courage to make it real?
