Summary

An ancient cult summons a demon. A private investigator hires a social misfit to help find a missing girl in 1980s Johannesburg.

Demon and rebel collide when they stumble into a twisted conspiracy of magickal forces battling to decide the fate of mankind. They race to outsmart the various factions leaving a trail of blood through their favorite drinking spots. Before they become screaming sacrifices to the dark gods of chaos.

Old friendships are tested and new alliances are forged. Can they stay conscious long enough to save the world? Or will they lose their very souls to the nightmare forces assailing them on every side? More importantly, will all of this cut into their drinking time?

Combining music, mysticism and mayhem, this work of fiction is set against the rock n roll underworld. A humble tribute to the lost generation, to those of us who survived, and to the fallen heroes who live on in our hearts.

The themes that thread through these nine accomplished stories are drawn from the great tradition of the twentieth-century weird tale, and they are suffused with a distinctly cosmopolitan, European feel. Mark Samuels writes about the fundamental fears of modern life, especially the effects of isolation and the dislocation that city dwellers can experience in their inhospitable, man-made environment. The White Hands: You may recall Alfred Muswell, he whom devotees of the weird tale will know as the author of numerous articles on the subject of literary ghost stories but who died in relative obscurity just over a year ago.

H.P. Lovecraft (1890 - 1937) was an American horror fiction writer. Though he died in poverty and was only published in pulp magazines before his death, he is now regarded as one of the most significant 20th century authors in the genre.
Lovecraft's most popular book is, perhaps, At the Mountains of Madness. He also wrote The Call of Cthulhu, along with many short stories and literary correspondences. In this rare recording, he is interviewed as part of a WPA project during the New Deal.

'Pain for Gain' is a reality game show that is played in pairs and you get paid to hurt your partner.
This is the second book in The Deadly Reality TV Series. This book can be read as a standalone, but is much better after reading the first book in the series.
The story follows the life of Damon Dahmer. After his reality pain game show 'Easy Money' was cancelled, he returns to work and finds out that there's another producer trying to take his job. There's a new reality pain game show called 'Pain for Gain', and Damon must either learn to work with this new producer, or find a way to get rid of him.
Meanwhile, Damon gets lonely and decides to have his girlfriend move in with him.
This book is for ages 18+. There is more gore and violence in this book than the first in the series. Not for the faint of heart. Viewer (reading) discretion is advised
'Pain for Gain' the only show on television that pays people to get hurt.
