Summary

These last 4 years have been surreal at best. Everything we have worked towards has been taken down by an incompetent, imbecile, narcissistic poor excuse for a human being, who calls himself the "US President".
The year 2020 will never be forgotten!
When I first started thinking about a book, I planned on writing an entire book, meanwhile I had been drawing these illustrations and as days passed, I begun sharing them with friends on Facebook, and they encouraged me to move forward and publish my illustrations. I knew this was not going to be an easy task given the fact that there is so much happening daily since this Pandemic was finally "disclosed" by our WH Stable Genius and his Deplorables. He would, of course, want to be known as President; I have never referred to Trump as President. I consider him nothing more than an ORANGE STAIN in our White House. Not only is he full of himself, but he has very little brain matter and he can't speak like a grown up. This is bad news for someone pretending to be President of a great nation, the good old United States of America. This poor excuse of a "human being" has surrounded himself with the "swamp creatures" literally, as well as his dead-beat family, his children and son in law. People refer to this family as the "grifters" and I could not agree more.

As a young girl Alice Carey came to realise that 'home' can mean different things. The only child of Irish immigrants to New York in search of a better life, her isolated and sometimes violent childhood was transformed when her mother started working as maid to legendary Broadway producer Jean Dalrymple. In Miss D.'s elegant Park Avenue town house, Alice was exposed to a life she had only seen in films. Her mother worked to save up enough money for them both to go 'home' to Ireland, travelling down below on ocean liners. Ireland in the 1960s was radically different from New York in every way, especially in its morality and attitudes to clerical abuse. Yet despite the darkness, many years later Alice and her husband fell in love with an abandoned Georgian farmhouse in west Cork. As they restored its stables, Alice began unearthing buried childhood memories played out in wildly divergent homes in New York City, Fire Island and Killarney. Manhattan to West Cork is the poignant tale of a young girl raised in a difficult environment juxtaposed with the story of a grown woman trying to make sense of her childhood. "A great read ... Alice started her first diary aged 10; this love of recording may explain her perceptive eye and ear and why the simplicity of her narration draws us in." – Irish Examiner

Don't Worry BEE HAPPY! Start your Bee colony today !
There are 140,000 beekeepers in the United States keeping 3.2 million beehives. American beekeepers produced 200 million pounds of honey a year. In addition, honey bees pollinate and make possible many of the fruits and vegetables that make up the American diet. In fact, the annual contribution of honey bees to crop pollination and production is over nine billion dollars. But to tell the truth, these are not the reasons why many beekeepers have kept bees. Most keep bees because they enjoy the outdoors. They enjoy helping a young colony grow in spring. They enjoy watching the bees make honey. They enjoy harvesting, bottling, and selling honey as well. If you raise animals or work with wood, grow a garden or have an entrepreneurial spirit, you might be a candidate for beekeeping. You'd be surprised at how gentle they can be, and of the many places where you can keep bees. We'll go ahead and discuss the basics of backyard beekeeping. As an example, we'll set up ten bee hives from scratch--that is with packages of bees in the mail, just like what veteran beekeepers did when they were starting out. The ultimate keepsake for every pickleball fan—from a dink shot to the kitchen, everything a pickleballer needs to know in this guide to the world’s greatest recreational sport, packed with lots of joy, good humor, and even a little bit of wisdom.

Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America. Easy to learn, but impossible to master, it’s no wonder that nearly 5 million people nationwide have picked up their paddles and taken to the court. But people aren’t just dabbling in this up-and-coming activity, they are obsessed; some hit the court as many as five, six, even seven times a week. As Vanity Fair put it, pickleball has “won over everyone, from Leonardo DiCaprio to your grandparents.”
Pickleball Is Life is the first book of its kind celebrating the weird and wonderful world of pickleball. It will take readers on a journey from the sport’s quirky origins to its modern-day cult following. Along the way, learn more pickleball knowledge, including etiquette tips, a DIY court, obscure rules, and pointers for (good-natured) trash talk. Also included are interviews with members of the three founding families from Bainbridge Island who are still very much involved in the sport and its growth.
People of all ages, athletic abilities, and backgrounds have fallen in love with pickleball. Sure, it’s a good workout, but it’s also a cheerful way to interact with others—something folks crave now more than ever. So, whether they’re uninitiated or obsessed, this book will help readers find even more to love about the world’s greatest sport.

With acerbic wit and raw honesty, actress Rosa Blasi—star of ABC’s The Whole Truth, Make It Or Break It and Hollywood’s The Grudge—shares the intimate and laugh-out-loud funny details of her misadventures in dating professional athletes, a bad habit that lasted from her first high school football player boyfriend until a decade of 'roid rage and pathological cheating led to her embrace a life of sports star sobriety. With echoes of Chelsea Handler’s on-her-back honesty; Karrine Steffans’ behind-the-scenes confessionals; the steamy, tell-all spice and humor of Jenna Jameson’s How to Make Love Like a Porn Star, and the sports world sensibilities of Jose Canseco’s Juiced, Rosa’s Jock Itch is an unforgettable, unmissable true tale of her lessons in life, love, and linebackers.
