    ABOUT THE BOOK
High blood pressure (HBP) or hypertension, a prevalent condition in the United States, is a major risk factor for stroke and heart attack. According to the American Heart Association, the economic burden to our society from HBP related problems and diseases is more than $93.5 billion per year.
Approximately 90 to 95% of all HBP patients have so-called essential HBP for which the cause is unknown. The remainder 5 to 10% has secondary HBP due to diseases of the arteries, heart, the adrenal glands or kidneys. The blood pressure measurement consists of two numbers, the top number is known as systolic and the bottom number, diastolic, BP expressed in mm Hg. Systolic BP is generated during the contraction of the heart whereas diastolic BP is generated during relaxation in between heartbeats.

    Source
    Mechanism
    Evidence-based of effectiveness
    Adverse Reactions
    Precautions
    Dosage
The effectiveness of these Natural Medicines will be ranked into one of four categories:
***E:Clinically effective demonstrated by multiple randomized clinical studies.

Families are places of love, care, and fun; also of anger, anxiety, and quarrels. Not Speaking tells the story of a Greek matriarch, Rena, and her English children in post-war London and the present.
It begins with Rena’s move out of a flat in St John’s Wood owned by her son Nicky Clarke, and the family disagreement that erupted. Moving through the London slums of Blackfriars, Greece under Nazi occupation, the Old Kent Road, Elephant and Castle, and the world of Mayfair hairdressing, this is a tale of enrichment and fame, infidelity and its consequences.
And in the end, it has a message: every family is unique and all families are the same.

In pop culture as much as in policy advocacy, the feminist movement has historically left infertile women out in the cold. This book traverses the chilly landscape of miscarriage, and the particular grief that accompanies the longing to make a family. Framed by her own desire for a child, journalist Alexandra Kimball brilliantly reveals the pain and loneliness of infertility, especially as a lifelong feminist. Her experience of online infertility support groups -- where women gather in forums to discuss IVF, surrogacy, and isolation -- leaves her longing for a real life community of women working to break down the stigma of infertility. In the tradition of Eula Biss’s On Immunity and Barbara Ehrenreich's Bright-sided, Kimball marries perceptive analysis with deep reportage -- her findings show the lie behind the prevailing, and at times paradoxical, cultural attitudes regarding women’s right to actively choose to have children. Braiding together feminist history, memoir, and reporting from the front lines of the battle for reproductive rights and technology, The Seed plants in readers the desire for a world where no woman is made to feel that her biology is her destiny.

'This is mental illness. It is unexpected strength and unusual luck and an uninterrupted string of steps. Then the next wave comes. And while you wipe grit from your eyes and swipe blood from your knees, the smiling faces in the distance call out: Why do you keep falling over?! Just stand up!'

Conversations about mental health are increasing, but we still seldom hear what it's really like to suffer from mental illness.

Enter Nancy Tucker, author of the acclaimed eating disorder memoir, The Time In Between. Based on her interviews with young women aged 16–25, That Was When People Started to Worry weaves together experiences of mental illness into moving narratives, humorous anecdotes, and guidance as to how we can all be more empathetic towards those who suffer. Tucker offers an authentic impression of seven common mental illnesses: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, self-harm, disordered eating, PTSD and borderline personality disorder.

Giving a voice to those who often find it hard to speak themselves, Tucker presents a unique window into the day-to-day trials of living with an unwell mind. She pushes readers to reflect on how we think, talk about and treat mental illness in young women.
