Here Be Dragons takes us on one’s man’s quest to make healthcare more accessible and affordable for all. Web Golinkin began his healthcare leadership journey by starting the first 24-hour cable TV network dedicated to health, America’s Health Network, which was eventually sold to Fox. He then helped to revolutionize healthcare with RediClinic, one of the first companies to put healthcare clinics inside drug, grocery, and big box stores, and was later sold to Rite Aid. More recently, Web was CEO of FastMed, one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing operators of urgent care clinics. But this is not a book about unbridled success. It is the true story of what happens when you are bold enough to try to transform a hidebound, multi-trillion-dollar industry. Retail clinics are now a permanent part of the healthcare landscape, but getting there did not come without a fight and required all the passion, endurance, and street-smarts that Web could muster at every step along the way.

The Marvel of Martyrdom is about how self-sacrifice can change lives and how martyrs can change the world.
The book starts large—with famous and influential martyrs such as Jesus and Gandhi—and ends small—with ordinary people whose own experiences of self-sacrifice give martyrdom its political power. Seeking the developmental origins of self-sacrifice, the book explores children's folklore and the success of mega-hits such as The Matrix and Harry Potter. Seeking the everyday rewards of self-sacrifice, the book shows the potential for finding meaning and happiness in helping others.
The Marvel of Martyrdom takes a broad perspective on self-sacrifice and martyrdom, bringing together religion, popular culture, history, psychology, and mythology. Stories of individuals both famous (Gandhi) and obscure (Rodrigo Rosenberg) intertwine with research on altruism, happiness, and radicalization to terrorism. The changing landscape of the book's setting—from The Roman Empire to nineteenth-century Russia to Nazi Germany to post–World War II India, to present day Ukraine—makes the power of self-sacrifice and martyrdom come alive and shows their potential to change people and cultures.

A long time ago, scientists proved that drugs like cocaine and heroin were addictive in rat studies. They’d put a rat in a cage and give it two options to drink ordinary water, or water laced with the drug. Pretty soon the rat started preferring the drug and eventually became addicted and overdosed itself. So scientists proved that drugs were 'chemically' addictive.
But some other scientists started noticing an interesting trend, during the Vietnam war. It became known that a huge number of soldiers fighting in Vietnam were routinely using heroin to cope with the stress. Everyone started freaking out, thinking that after the war we’d have a mass epidemic of drug addicted return soldiers wandering around. But funnily enough, they found that once they came home, very few return soldiers continued the habit. They started asking questions. Such as, how come when little old grannies go into hospital dosed up on morphine for weeks on end, they don’t tend to go home still hooked on opioid pain killers? Obviously some people do, but most don’t. So if its so addictive, how can this be explained?
In this book we discover what exactly creates an addictive personality and how addictive personalities become addicted to drugs and behaviours. What exactly is it about certain people that behave in addictive ways and others that have no problems giving 'chemically' addictive things up. We list the two main cause of addictive personalities, where they come from, how they develop and how to get rid of them and overcome addiction once and for all.
If you have an addictive personality, have a partner or perhaps a son or daughter with an addictive personality this book is for you.

Every day across America, consumers face issues with credit cards, mortgages, car loans, and student loans. When they are cheated or mistreated, all too often they hit a brick wall against the financial companies. People are fed up with being run over by big corporations, and few have the resources or expertise to fight back on their own.It is no wonder consumers feel powerless: they are outgunned every step of the way. Since 1970, the financial industry has doubled in size. It is the biggest source of campaign contributions to federal candidates and parties, spending about $1 billion annually on campaigns and another $500 million on lobbying. The four biggest banks each now has more than $1 trillion in assets. Financial products have become a mass of fine print that consumers can hardly even read, let alone understand.Growing problems in the increasingly one-sided finance markets blew up the economy in 2008. In the aftermath, Congress created the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Sharing the stories of individual consumers, Watchdog shows how the Bureau quickly became a powerful force for good, suing big banks for cheating or deceiving consumers, putting limits on predatory lenders, simplifying mortgage paperwork, and stepping in to help solve problems raised by individual consumers.
