Summary

Whips, chains, and genuinely masterful men are merely the stuff of fantasy stories, such as the one Ever is writing. ThatÕs what Ever thinksÑbefore her chance encounter with the charming and worldly Stroud. When he presses his card into her hand, Ever canÕt resist the temptation to step beyond the threshold of his dark realm. Under StroudÕs meticulous domination, Ever begins to realize the happiness that has eluded her, but sheÕs not prepared for the uncharted territory ahead. When Stroud introduces the brash, young Brooke into the relationship, Ever must quickly adapt, as the fantasy of domination by two masters becomes reality. Stroud embarks on a strict training program to prepare Ever to accommodate the younger manÕs brutish assaults, but this young masterÕs tendency toward violence drives Ever to the brink. Stroud and Brooke find themselves in a struggle, not only to keep Ever from leaving the triad, but to be the one who ultimately secures her devotion. As the plot of EverÕs own novel unfolds, there appears to be a shift in power and the leanings of her heart.

“There is love, which is neither personal nor impersonal; and there is sex, which is either personal or impersonal. We understand our bodies, we learn how to let go, we strive for pleasure, and learn how to give‑to‑get.”A young man let loose in the human potential movement travels from one end of the country to the other, opening himself to all the possible variations of sexual experience, trying to find love in the midst of explosive and unlimited sensuality. He finds new opportunities, new positions, opening up to him . . . and somewhere between the pain of love and the joy of lust, he must confront the very nature of his sexual yearning.

Two French schoolgirls discover obsessive pleasures in repressed secrets in this “masterpiece on the tyranny of love” (Independent, UK).   “Violette Leduc was Simone de Beauvoir’s protege, an erotic writer to match Jean Genet and a feminist tour de force” (Rafia Zakaria, The Guardian). With this startling new translation of Leduc’s hidden classic, the groundbreaking Thérèse and Isabelle proves an authentic and liberating exploration of queer sensibilities, which still stands as “one of the greatest examples of French-Language erotic literature” ever written (Times Literary Supplement).   Censored for half a century for its vivid depiction of budding female sexuality, this is the “dark and luminous” (Nicole Borssard) novel of two young women in the consuming and at times frightening throes of first love. Navigating their schoolgirl relationship becomes a rapturous secret, as they sneak away from repressive boundaries to go beyond the limits of friendship with “all the raw urgency of female adolescent sexuality: its energy and intensity, the push-pull of excitement, its dangers and glories” (Kate Millett, award-winning author of Sexual Politics and Mother Millett).   Filmed in 1968 by Radley Metzger, starring Essy Persson and Anna Gaël, Thérèse and Isabelle is finally available as it was intended to be read. “I have waited a very long time to slip back into the unexpurgated, delicious darkness with these iconic lesbian lovers” (Amber Dawn, Lambda Literary Award-winning author Sodom Road Exit).

A glance. Sometimes that's all it takes for desire to overwhelm you, to make the body of a total stranger all you want, in all the sweating screaming ways propriety says should be forbidden. For Fiona, that glance just happened in the most unlikely of places, a crowded mall filled with tens of thousands. And in that glance is something terrifying. But its not the location that upsets her, not the sudden steaming arousal that shames her. It's not even the guilt that eats her because the glance isn't with her husband. The fear that's found her, that's begging her to flee from the lust and connection she's found in that glance, is a hidden secret she's run from for years. For on the other side of that glance, beaming in all its feminine glory, is the face of another woman. A face that's determined to have her.

ACE. I don't take women to bed. I take them against the wall, hard and fast, and when I come I make sure they remember. They always do. I'm cocky as hell, but sh*t, I've got reason to be. I own Spades Royalle, the sexiest casino in Vegas. F*ck, the sexiest casino in the country. I'm gonna keep building my empire all on my own - my ties with the mafia are in my past, buried with the bones of my family. I like my money clean and my women dirty. That is until I met Emmy Rose. She says she doesn't want a bad boy. I guess I'll have to change her pretty little mind. EMMY ROSE. F*ck. My. Life. I made one rule when I moved to Vegas two months ago - I would not screw bad boys. Or asshats. Or really anyone I met on the casino floor. And the thing is, I've made good on my promise. I'm here for one reason, and one reason only: it's a f*cking job. Landing in Vegas was never my plan. But plans change when your sister is in a coma and you don't know who put her there. If only she'd wake up and I could get some answers. Until then, I'll do everything in my power to avoid men who have a past as shady as my own. ***This book contains a helluva lot of chemistry and smokin' hot sex. Just be prepared, babycakes. And don't say I didn't warn you. xo, frankie
