“Marvel at the extreme dexterity and patience of 24 contemporary artists who painstakingly labor to create artworks at minuscule scale in this adorably tiny coffee-table book. From Hasan Kale, who somehow turns halved almonds and matchstick heads into canvases, to Salavat Fidai, who carefully carves pencils into tiny lead sculptures, each diminutive piece offers mind-blowing demonstrations of craft, skill, and artistic vision.” —Artnet

“Spectacular . . . . There are embroidered portraits no larger than a quarter, intricate landscapes painted on lockets, and exquisite sculptures carved into the tips of pencils . . . . This is a fun, accessible, and compact book that both casual and enthusiastic art fans will enjoy.” —Publishers Weekly

It was when she realised she was spending twelve hours a week and five thousand euro a year commuting to work that Liz Ryan began to question how great life in boom-time Ireland really was - and reached a decision the day an enraged biker hurled a helmet at her windscreen. So she quit her job, sold her house and moved to a remote hamlet in coastal Normandy. Thus begins her French adventure, in which she gets picked up by the police, discovers the mixed pleasures of French homeownership - flooded basements, grim neighbours, surreal phone companies, busybody mayors - and embraces the challenges of creating a new life in a new country. Liz hilariously charts her gradual immersion into village life, the setbacks and the joys, the local political intrigue, the Gallic shrug and that famous French bureaucracy - and paradoxical French attitudes to food, politics, sport, dating, and shopping on the grand scale. But like any expat, even as she revels in new pleasures she also experiences the tug-of-war between fresh fields and the place of one's birth, the craic, the humour and the warm embrace of lifelong friends.

The 'ShipCraft' series provides in-depth information about building and modifying model kits of famous warship types. Lavishly illustrated, each book takes the modeller through a brief history of the subject class, using scale plans to highlight differences between sisterships and changes in their appearance over their careers, then moves to an extensive photographic survey of either a high-quality model or a surviving example of the ship. Hints on building the model, and on modifying and improving the basic kit, are followed by a section on paint schemes and camouflage, featuring numerous colour profiles and highly-detailed line drawings. The strengths and weaknesses of available kits of the ships are reviewed, and the book concludes with a section on research references—books, monographs, large-scale plans and relevant websites. The subject of this volume is the Fletcher class, often considered the most successful of all American destroyers. Built to the first design that was freed from treaty restrictions, they came into service near the beginning of the Pacific War and fought with distinction through all the most ferocious of the campaigns against Japan. They were constructed in large numbers, with a number of variations, and their popularity is reflected by the wide range of available kits.

Marlee's Correction: A Sweet, Naive College Freshman and the Humiliating Spanking She Must Endure From Her Nasty Professor and His Horny Sons. Innocence and embarrassment to the hilt!Greetings, dear listerner! Welcome to my newest and naughtiest series: "Innocent College Girls Humiliated!" In this sleazy set, one sweet, naïve young lady after another is taken to the outer limits of embarrassment by unscrupulous males, young and old alike. Men who happen to think that, ahem, red cheeks look kinda lovely on a girl—especially if they themselves have a hand in making them that way!Everybody makes mistakes. Everybody screws up once in a while. Even people as sweet, innocent, and well-behaved as Marlee Sanders. When this cute freshman is hired by her sociology professor to detail his car—and his car happens to be a very expensive sparkle-red Dodge Viper—well, even Marlee can buckle under the strain of temptation! She just can't help it. She’s just so in love with this car. And she would give just about anything for just one chance to take that beauty out for a spin! So, after her professor and his two college-age sons, Connor and Evan, go off to play golf, leaving her alone with the car, Marlee gives in to her desire. For the next hour, she is thrilled out of her mind as she cruises along the nearby highways and byways.Until it starts to rain and snaps Marlee out of her reverie. She hurries back and starts to work on the car...And not a minute too soon, for, just then, her professor and his sons return home from their rained-out golf game! And they can plainly see that she’s done very little work on the car. Worse, while she’s in the bathroom, they check the odometer, and—uh, oh—they can also see that, in their absence, Marlee took their prized car for a joyride.Marlee is in big trouble. But she has no idea how big until her professor informs her that her punishment will consist of a bare-bottom spanking with all of them watching.Lying across his knee, Marlee endures the worst humiliation of her life. Then, even worse, her professor invites Connor and Evan to have a turn. Poor Marlee now finds herself, with panties down, over each of their knees as well—enduring even greater humiliation. And the stinging pain isn't so nice either. But her pain is short-lived, for when Evan has his turn, he can't bring himself to actually spank her—opting instead for gentle caresses and love-pats.Apparently, Evan is the only one of the three with any measure of compassion, gentleness, and kindness. And that is precisely why, when everything is all over, he finds himself being rewarded in the most erotically gratifying ways he ever could have imagined!Apparently, using someone's car without permission isn’t the only naughty thing sweet Marlee is capable of!Fans of spanking humiliation stories featuring cute little college freshmen with ripe little bottoms, and the fresh young men who embarrass the living daylights out of them, this one is for you! Who says that nice guys finish last?
