Summary

It is Birdy's day to learn to fly. Everybody is so excited for her! But she is worried. What if she can't do it? And, what will happen when she leaves the comfort of Mama's nest? 
Birdy is the baby of the family, and it is time for her to learn to fly. Her brothers and sisters look like they have so much fun flying around and going places. Birdy's whole family is excited for her! She is, too. But, this is new and scary. She might not be able to do it. And since she is the baby, she worries about leaving Mama. With lots of encouragement, Birdy tries and fails. Along the way, she finds a new friend who needs her help. Together, Birdy and Kitty learn that they can do more than they thought.
