Summary

Working together is Cindy Pelicans main lesson for her class of young pelicans. Problems arise when Paige decides to skip class and dive bomb the visitors watching the barges at the Mississippi River Visitor's Center. Paige had thought that the ladies hat was perfect for decorating her nest, but the ranger and the lady didn't agree. She finally makes it to class only to be reprimanded by Cindy for not listening. Paige soon realizes the importance of listening and working together. She faces consequences for her poor choices and is grateful to Cindy and fellow classmates when they rescue her from danger. 
Her classmates example of listening and working together made a big impression as well as influence on Paige. Paige takes it to heart and changes her actions.
