Summary

'The Dean's Watch' is a novelette by Erckmann-Chatrian, set in 1832 on the road to Heidelberg during an unusually snowy Christmas season. The story follows two musicians, Kasper and Wilfred, who are warned by a mysterious horseman to turn back because the city is already crowded with performers. But Kasper's talent as a violinist and Wilfred's wit and humor push them to continue their journey. When they arrive in Heidelberg, they meet old friends from the Black Forest and decide to join their troupe. However, a string of gruesome murders has plagued the city, and the authorities are on high alert. As they settle in for the night, Kasper and Wilfred hear someone walking on the roof and are confronted by the same mysterious horseman, who is now armed with a bloody knife. The encounter leaves them shaken and questioning their safety. Will they be able to survive the dangerous circumstances in which they find themselves?

From the Gold Rush to the Tech Rush, it’s been the site of daring innovations, counterculture upheavals, and social rebellions that shaped generations. And over the decades, residents have offered unique perspectives through journals, letters, and newspapers, their words bringing another time to life.   Discover San Francisco through the eyes of miners and “ladies of the night.” Relive the experiences of robber barons and beatniks who flourished in a tiny corner of the world with fewer than one million souls. With commentary, historical background, and extraordinary images, historians Terry Hamburg and Richard Hansen guide you through these colorful quotes, showing the city as it once was and what it aspired to be.

The Summa Theologica (or the Summa Theologiae or simply the Summa, written 1265–1274) is the most famous work of Thomas Aquinas although it was never finished. It was intended as a manual for beginners as a compilation of all of the main theological teachings of that time. It summarizes the reasonings for almost all points of Christian theology in the West, which, before the Protestant Reformation, subsisted solely in the Roman Catholic Church. The Summa's topics follow a cycle: the existence of God, God's creation, Man, Man's purpose, Christ, the Sacraments, and back to God. (Summary adapted from the Wikipedia)

This is part two of six parts of the Pars Prima, consisting of questions regarding the Trinity and Creation.
