Summary

Paris, a hotel room, the middle of the afternoon . . .
So begins the story of Annabelle, a young escort in Paris who has accepted her final proposition before marrying the powerful and generous man of her dreams, media mogul David Barlet. But the mysterious handwritten notes she has been receiving—notes that detail personal fantasies no one could possibly know—don't prepare her for the fact that her new client is her fiancé's brother, Louie. Through visits to the Hotel des Charmes, where each chamber is dedicated to one of French history's great seductresses, Louie awakens Annabelle's body and her psyche, delivering her to heights of ecstasy and fits of passion. He pushes her beyond her limitations to tap into her deep seductive power—and she discovers that true freedom comes only when you fully surrender to desire.
Funny, sensual, candid, and revealing, Hotelles is a titillating novel of mysteries and surprises by a radiant new voice.

In early 80’s Ukraine is stricken by perestroika and struggles for “democracy”, Afghanistan is in flames of a war where hundreds of eighteen-year-old youths are killed every day. Their peer, Dan, a student of cinematography, hardly cares about social problems anywhere on the planet. But one fatal encounter with a mysterious young lady in a picturesque corner of the Carpathians changes his life forever. Unable to let go of his love after getting lost with her in the woods for one beautiful night, the young man’s fascination with the actress turns into an obsession. He deliberately goes through all the hell circles in Afghanistan, striving to burn out the traces of his unrequited love. Years later his native country just starts experiencing a real advertising boom amidst which he finds a new way to apply his creative talent and inner strengths. However, the past of his love rushes back into his life and now this obsession takes him from one continent to another.

The taut psychological thriller The Lost Button keeps the reader transfixed. The novel encompasses an entire era from the mid-70s of the previous century till the modern day with its geography stretching over the European region including Kiev, the Ukraine’s periphery, Russia and Montenegro, and at last the United States. It explores evergreen concepts of love, devotion, and betrayal and emphasizes the idea that whenever and wherever one lives, a tiny detail like a lost button has the power to set off a chain of events that would lead to either one’s greatest happiness or one’s greatest tragedy. It is about not looking back, but always valuing what you have – today and forever.

The Lost Button received first place in the “Coronation of the Word” competition in 2005 and subsequently was made into a feature film.

The handsome Dr. Beauregard Addams previously 'cured' his headstrong fiance Lucy of 'female hysteria', using his unique medical treatments. In the days leading up to their marriage, Lucy is convinced that Beau is keeping secrets. Her fear causes a relapse, that requires another dose of the doctor's treatment, including strong enemas, strict discipline and corporal punishment, which drive her sexual urges to the brink of orgasm. Though she remains under Beau's firm control, once she's married, her vows to love, honor and Obey get severely tested.

Beau is enlisted by the Confederacy, and he sends Lucy to France to keep her safe from the impending war. However, on arriving in Baltimore, the intractable Lucy and her maid jump ship, and begin an event filled journey that lands them in a brothel, in bed together for sex, and finally back at Greenbrier Plantation. While initially clueless about his wife's whereabouts, Beau's in Richmond, treating female patients using techniques of bondage, sexual manipulation, flogging and his unique Enema Tonic.

Home at Greenbrier, the high-strung Lucy installs herself as mistress of the manor, and there's trouble brewing from the start. Now on her own, she resorts to the same stubborn, intimidating and manipulative behavior that her husband thought he cured. Without his firm hand and strict rules, Lucy terrorizes even the strongest men - including a band of Yankees who dare terrorize her!

Though Lucy longs for Beau's return, she fears his anger when he sees what she's done. Only Beau has the answer to Lucy's willful behavior, but can he return in time to save his home from the unruly Lucy? Will he be able to restore his rightful domination of his wife? Will the couple be able to repair the damage done by their ill-fated separation? A passionate and graphic erotic tale, filled with period details that bring the story and its many wonderful characters to life.
