Summary

In the exciting third book in E.D. Baker's beloved Frog Princess series, Princess Emma charms her way through adventure and adversity - and now through time!
The Frog Princess was the inspiration for Disney's hit movie The Princess and the Frog!

Many years ago, a slighted fairy placed a curse on a beautiful young princess - a curse that caused her and all her female descendants to turn into mean, ugly witches if they ever touched a flower after turning sixteen. Now Princess Emma, who is about to turn sixteen herself, is determined to break the spell once and for all. Emma travels back in time to the day the curse was placed on her ancestor in the hope of preventing it from being cast. Unfortunately she is thwarted in her efforts - until she overhears the instructions for how to break it. Armed with this knowledge, Emma returns to her own time full of hope. But disaster ensues and Emma almost gives up completely - until true love shows itself in the most unexpected place of all.

“The Irish dialect and vivid watercolor illustrations integrated throughout the story add richness to this charming tale.” —Children’s Literature “Lucky O’Leprechaun is a beautifully illustrated, bright and lively tale.” —The Midwest Book Review “An entertaining addition for the holiday shelves.” —School Library Journal Legend has it that most leprechauns are content spending their days counting their gold and playing tricks on unsuspecting mortals in Ireland, the land of their births. A few have managed, intentionally or not, to find their way to America. This delightful follow-up story to Lucky O’Leprechaun reunites young readers with the O’Sullivan family and the leprechaun who has pestered them since the time of the Vikings. As the O’Sullivan girls make plans to join their parents in the New World, their uncle offers them his most precious (and secret) possession—an ancient box full of valuable Irish treasure! The sisters insist that dear Uncle Paddy keep the treasure for himself, but he—and a certain sneaky leprechaun—have other ideas.

Little does he know when he stows away on the space shuttle as the first ghost in outer space that keeping incognito isn't as easy as it is on earth. Vowing not to do any haunting while on vacation (he isn't licensed to haunt in space), Henry quickly learns that haunting, for a ghost, is second nature, and that if he is not going to scare the crew of the shuttle into returning home early, he must quickly adapt to the difficulties of life in orbit. But for Henry, to remain inconspicuous is a full-time task, and what he really wants to do on this trip is learn about space and how it affects ghosts in particular. And for a ghost with a love for food, it becomes next to impossible to keep the crew from becoming suspicious of the mysterious occurrences on board the Spirit of America.
