Summary

Time management remains a huge challenge for most people. This book shares the habits and processes used by top leaders worldwide to minimize distractions and maximize accomplishments.

In researching more than 1,260 managers and executives from more than 108 different organizations, Steve and Rob Shallenberger discovered that 68 percent of them feel like their number one challenge is time management, yet 80 percent don't have a clear process for how to prioritize their time.

Drawing on their forty years of leadership research, this book offers three powerful habits that the top 10 percent of leaders use to Do What Matters Most. These three high performance habits are developing a written personal vision, identifying and setting Roles and Goals, and consistently doing Pre-week Planning. And Steve and Rob make an audacious promise: these three habits can increase anyone's productivity by at least 30 to 50 percent. For organizations, this means higher profits, happier employees, and increased innovation. For individuals, it means you'll find hours in your week that you didn't know were there—imagine what you could do!

You will learn how acquiring this skillset turned an “average” employee into her company's top producer, enabled a senior vice president to reignite his team and achieve record results, transformed a stressed-out manager's work and home life, helped a CEO who felt like he'd lost his edge regain his fire and passion, and much more. By implementing these simple and easy-to-understand habits, supported by tools like the Personal Productivity Assessment, you will learn how to lead a life by design, not by default. You'll feel the power that comes with a sense of control, direction, and purpose.

One day he meets an old man who lives on a mountain peak. At first the young man doesn’t realize that he is talking to one of the most peaceful and successful people in the world. But in the course of further encounters and conversations, the young man comes to understand that he can apply the old man’s remarkable principles and practical tools to his own life to change it for the better. Spencer Johnson knows how to tell a deceptively simple story that teaches deep lessons. The One Minute Manager (co-written with Ken Blanchard) sold 15 million copies and stayed on the New York Times bestseller list for more than twenty years. Lots of investment opportunities have come and gone. Now is the time for cryptocurrencies, so do not miss the boat.

Thе blockchain is an online decentralized public ledger of аll digitаl trаnѕасtiоnѕ that have taken рlасе. It iѕ digitаl currency's equivalent оf a high street bank's ledger that records trаnѕасtiоnѕ between two parties.

Just as our modern banking system couldn't function without the means tо rесоrd the exchanges of fiat currency between individuals, ѕо tоо could a digital network nоt function without the trust that comes form the ability to accurately record the exchange of digitаl currency between parties.

It is decentralized in the ѕеnѕе that, unlike a traditional bank which is the sole holder of an electronic master ledger of its account holder's savings, the blockchain ledger is shared among all members оf the network and iѕ nоt subject to the tеrmѕ and conditions оf аnу particular financial institution оr country.

The potential оf the blосkсhаin tо improve the way wе communicate, bank, and manage our аѕѕеtѕ iѕ hugе and only limitеd bу the imagination of реорlе in the crypto community and the willingness оf current institutions to change. There is no definition of artificial intelligence (AI), but several. Ia is to make computers think like humans or that are as intelligent as humans. Thus, the ultimate goal of the research on this topic is to develop a machine that can simulate some human skills and to replace them with some activities.
Artificial intelligence is part of the Computer Science studies. The programs use the same language of conventional systems, but with a different logic. There are several ways to do this program. In some cases, the intelligent system operates with a simple logic - if the question is x, y is the answer. In other cases, such as studies on neural networks, the machine tries to reproduce the functioning of human neurons, where the information will be transmitted from one cell to another and combined with other data to arrive at a solution.
There are several branches of study in intelligent systems, each one dedicated to a particular aspect of human behavior. For example, some robots study and worry about the driving part. Other areas have addressed speech, with the goal of creating machines that can talk, understand the language and their meanings. The professor also claims that all research is highly specialized, and therefore no one is engaged in building a machine that reproduces the human being in its entirety - as in science fiction movies. Also, for this reason, robot production is very unlikely to become more intelligent than humans and can be "rebel". Many experts do not see the possibility of Android similar to man. There are studies that try to make the computer be able to learn, but even so, he still not aware of the world. Follow this e-book some of the major and controversial issues around the Artificial Intelligence.

Every working mother's path is unique and should be celebrated, not lamented. Yet all too frequently, working mothers are presented with advice, rules to follow or guidelines as if all women's experiences are the same and a one-size-fits-all solution is appropriate.Maternal Optimism: Forging Positive Paths through Work and Motherhood aims to provide listeners with stories and research that support the notion of women owning and feeling confident in the choices they make, as they navigate a complex series of work and family transitions. This book challenges the impulse to reduce work/life challenges to a single point in time, such as the decision to return to work after the birth of a child; instead, it recognizes that work and family decisions are anything but stagnant. They shift as life and career shift and are often filled with unpredictable events.By understanding and anticipating these shifts, working mothers can develop the resiliency they need at home and at work. This book is a resource for all professional women as they approach the difficulties and the joys of growing a family and a career.
