Summary

The fierce healer and guardian Reisil journeys with her goshawk to a realm of dark sorcery in the final battle of an epic fantasy trilogy.   Guardian priestess Reisil of the ahalad-kaaslane thought she had destroyed the stronghold of the Patverseme wizards, whose dark sorcery is wreaking havoc on all realms—but they were not so easily defeated. The plague decimating the population of Kodu Riik in Path of Honor continues with increasing destruction. Meanwhile, armies of the power-mongering Aare go on a murderous rampage in an attempt to usurp the throne. In doing so, they pit family members against one another, and sorcerers against the ahalad-kaaslane.   In order to save her people from the worst of all fates—obliteration—Reisil must outsmart the unrelenting wizards and render them powerless. Key to her success will be deciphering the mysterious wizard runes and, in turn, healing an ever-widening rift between two worlds.   Accompanied by her telepathic goshawk, Saljane, and her loyal lover, Yohuac, Reisil travels across a war-ravaged land and into an alternate realm. Only there can this strong heroine ascertain the form of magic needed to solve the problems that threaten existence as she knows it. Will Reisil choose the right path despite impossible odds and crippling self-doubt or will her destructive impulses and the dark will of the gods have irreversible consequences?   An intimate story of a strong female character and her profound bond with her animal companion—as well as a gripping saga of good versus evil—Path of Blood is a thrilling conclusion to acclaimed author Diana Pharaoh Francis’s epic fantasy trilogy.

“Take a bite into fresh, fun vampire comedy…read Lynsay Sands.”—Carly Phillips Nobody does vampire romance quite like Lynsay Sands! Tall, Dark & Hungry is the fourth book in her insanely popular Argeneau vampire series—and she brilliantly blends laughter with steamy passion in this story about a British lass who falls hard for a tasty immortal in-law she meets when she crosses the ocean to attend a cousin’s New York wedding. Paranormal romance is hot, hot, hot! And Lynsay Sands is not only one of the pioneer authors of this subgenre…she’s one of the very best!

Twolip Reviews recommended read “Holy cow! Greta van der Rol’s The Iron Admiral 1: Conspiracy was outstanding, but its sequel is almost beyond compare…. Deception is, in my humble opinion, one of the five best space operas ever written. Hands down!”
Loved Deception even more than book number one, Conspiracy. Well-written, fast-paced, a story of substance. You’ll read this and its predecessor again and again.
I cannot recommend this book strongly enough. The author combined everything that is great about science fiction–space travel, “alien” species, politics, military engagements, technology–and everything that is great about romance–a strong, sexy hero and a strong, sexy heroine–into one absolutely breathtaking story.
    ...
Grand Admiral Chaka Saahren has the rewards of rank
…but he doesn’t have Systems Engineer Allysha Marten. Determined to keep her safe, Saahren will go to any lengths to win back the woman he loves. Allysha agrees to temporary employment by the Fleet, hoping to avoid at all costs the man she believes responsible for the death of innocent civilians, including her estranged father.
    Sean O’Reilly has a plan…
…and it involves hijacking Allysha and convincing her, one way or another, to do just one more job—a job that would clear his debts and save his hide.
Allysha Marten must come to terms with her feelings…
…in the face of a reality that suggests she is a pawn in a growing power struggle, one where she will need all her skills and cunning to outwit a heinous plot that could result in the loss of billions of human lives.
When Allysha decides to tackle the conspirators on her own, she forces an impossible choice on… The Iron Admiral.

This time the job is personal . . .
Tie-in to the series that shows where Ritter was those two missing months after The Change.
In and out. Do the job. Renegade Blaze Vincent has survived years with this motto. Barely. Plucked from death’s door and revived repeatedly with curequick, he’s developed an addiction that threatens to destroy everything he’s worked for.
Now the Emporium is buying fields around a tiny Portuguese town, and mortals—Blaze’s countrymen—are dying. Blaze and his partner, Kenna Murray, are determined to unravel their enemies’ intentions before the entire town is lost.
But things tend to explode when Blaze is around. Literally. And to save his people, he must be willing to take yet one more step over the edge.
Please Note: Set Ablaze is not as long as the books from Erin's viewpoint. This tie-in to the series can be enjoyed at any time. However, between The Change (Unbounded Book 1) and The Cure (Unbounded Book 2), Renegade Ritter Langton disappears for two months. Set Ablaze fits between those books in the Unbounded timeline, giving us a glimpse into what Ritter was doing. Keep in mind this novella ISN'T ABOUT RITTER, but tells the story of someone very close to him. Because readers are not made aware of Ritter’s whereabouts until nearly the end of The Cure, readers may better appreciate Set Ablaze after reading the first two books.
If you’ve enjoyed the Unbounded series, you will love this extra peek into Ritter’s family.
    Praise for the UNBOUNDED series:
    “Excellent and well written!”
“I recommend reading the entire series”
    “Thoroughly enjoyable”
    “High action and adventure”
“Teyla Branton belongs right alongside Patricia Briggs, Kim Harrison, Ilona Andrews, Jennifer Estep, and Kelly Armstrong.”

Zhanshi is a sector local legend with a short social attention span and a growing boredom with brainless, vapid women (who used to be fun). He's done with being a playboy. He has been coming into his own for some time now with no credit from his regularly condescending father. Being repeatedly shut down when he attempts to join the discussion table with his father's contemporaries, he is slowly realizing that his father does not plan to allow him any real power in the kingdom.

Annaisha is a keen, selective, and vastly powerful woman. Usually quite able to run her planetoid retreat without a hitch, she has been noticing her droids coming down with an infection that matches very few documented droid sicknesses on the books. It could ruin her business entirely, but more importantly all of the people she regularly helps with her retreat space would be lacking the high quality of therapeutic attention she has been providing since she took over the regular running of the planetoid for her uncle.

Zhanshi's kingdom may be able to "help," for a "price." She soon learns that his father, the king, intends for them to marry for his own nefarious reasons.
