Summary

"A truly fascinating read...an intriguing and well-written study of lake monsters and shouldn't be missed!" --Liz Konkel, Readers' Favorite

Cannibalistic snakes exceeding one hundred feet in length that cause the earth to tremble. Large cats with twelve-inch fangs thought to be extinct. Sauropod dinosaurs that flip canoes. A half-octopus, half-shark creature that pulls boats into the abyss. Plesiosaurs swimming in glacial lakes. These are but a few of the monsters lurking in the waters of South & Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

In his first book, People are Seeing Something: A Survey of Lake Monsters in the United States and Canada, Denver Michaels examined the lake monster phenomenon in depth. In this book, he continues the effort by taking us on a trip "south of the border" to study the myths, legends, folklore, and eyewitness reports of water monsters in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central & South America. What parallels can be drawn between the creatures found to the south and their Canadian and American counterparts?

What are we to make of the mermaid legends of South America? Could there be dinosaurs roaming the remote reaches of the Amazon? What are "water tigers?" Is the Giant Anaconda a mythical creature, or does it actually exist?

Though many of these creatures are written off as mythical, could they be based something that lived in the remote past? Is it possible that many of the ancient monsters never went extinct?

Michaels explores these questions and many others in his work. However, the answers may be disturbing....

FIND OUT WHY Ancient Aliens costar David Hatcher Childress calls Water Monsters South of the Border a "unique book," and renowned cryptozoologist Loren Coleman placed it on his list of TOP TEN CRYPTOZOOLOGY BOOKS OF 2016.

Decluttering Kitchen: The Essential Guide on How You Can Improve and Organize Your KitchenAside from being the place where you prepare food, studies show that people like to congregate and stay in the kitchen. The kitchen is one of the most used rooms in a household. Modernizing your kitchen can take one of two routes. The first route is less expensive but may take more time. It includes painting, wallpapering, and re-decorating to give your kitchen a modern facelift. The second route can be much quicker, but also much costlier. This route includes new appliances, new cupboards, or even a new layout. Your only limit is how much money and time you have to give. Choosing which way to go would primarily depend on how much money and time you have to give. A modern look is having the bare essentials or a minimalist approach to kitchens. Besides providing a new look, less clutter holds less dust, which requires less cleaning. Less small appliances and items on the cupboard make the room appear larger too. This audiobook will give you proven and useful tips and advice on how you will declutter your kitchen to look even cleaner and more organized. Get insights on how you can improve your kitchen whether you do minor or major renovations and decluttering. To learn more, get a copy of Decluttering Kitchen now!

An honest, irreverent, laugh-out-loud audiobook guide to coping with death and dying from the Emmy-nominated writer and New York Times bestselling co-author of Sh*tty Mom, Laurie Kilmartin.
Death is not for the faint of heart, and sometimes the best way to cope is through humor. No one knows this better than comedian Laurie Kilmartin. She made headlines by live-tweeting her father's time in hospice and her grieving process after he passed, and channeled her experience into a comedy special, 45 Jokes About My Dead Dad. Dead People Suck is her hilarious guide to surviving (sometimes) death, dying, and grief without losing your mind.
Whether you are old and about to die, sick and about to die, or with a loved one who is about to pass away or who has passed away, there's something for you. With chapters like "Are You An Old Man With Daughters? Please Shred Your Porn," "If Cancer was an STD, It Would Be Cured By Now," and "Unsubscribing Your Dead Parent from Tea Party Emails," Laurie Kilmartin guides listeners through some of life's most complicated moments with equal parts heart and sarcasm.
