A rollicking parody of the Margot Asquith memoirs, in which Pain's character, Marge, beguiles us with the most personal details of her dysfunctional family, and delights in relating every cringing, if not wholly accurate, minutiae of her exciting private life. (Summary by Nigel Boydell)

Chaim Gans's A Political Theory for the Jewish People examines the two dominant interpretations of Zionism, contrasts them with post-Zionist alternatives, and develops a third model.Proprietary Zionism, Gans argues, is the version that is most popular among the Israeli Jewish public. It conceives of the land of Israel/historic Palestine as the property of the Jewish people. It also conceives of the entire Jewish people as belonging to Israel. Hierarchical Zionism is common among Israel's educated elites and interprets the Jewish right to self-determination as a right to hegemony within the Israeli state. It remains silent on the relationship between Israeli and non-Israeli Jews. Post-Zionist approaches, conversely, critique the rationale for the continued existence of the state of Israel as a Jewish state.Gans disagrees with these approaches, and in their stead advocates egalitarian Zionism, which is based on an egalitarian interpretation of the right to national self-determination. As such, it interprets the historical link between the Jews and the land of Israel in terms of identity rather than property. Ultimately, the book argues that egalitarian Zionism is superior to its rivals both in the authenticity of its relationship to Jewish history and in its implications for denizens of Israel and Jews around the world.

If you had the chance to talk to someone who went to the moon, what would you say? What questions would you ask? Imagine the stories, thoughts, and reflections he would share. “What was it like to be in zero gravity?” “Did you see any UFOs?” “Were you scared?” Imagine what it would be like to spend time with one of the twenty-four human beings in the history of our planet to go to the moon. Now imagine that the astronaut was your dad.Traci Shoblom is the youngest daughter of Apollo 12 astronaut Richard F. Gordon. She is an author, speaker, and a university lecturer. Although she’s published numerous nonfiction books, articles, academic chapters, scripts, and more, Apollo’s Creed is Traci’s “labor of love.” In it, she shares the stories, anecdotes, and wisdom that her dad told her at home—when the cameras were off. When you’ve sat upon a rocket and had it set on fire, been shot into outer space and then have been all alone in a space capsule, you get a different perspective on life, and that unique viewpoint lives on as Richard’s legacy. These are Traci’s stories—the funny ones, the profound ones, and the rare chance for a daughter to ask her dad, “So, what was it like to go to the moon?”

Short on time? Or maybe you’ve already read the book, but need a refresh on the most important takeaways. In a quick, easy listen, you can take the main principles from The United States of Trump: How the President Really Sees America!
In The United States of Trump: How the President Really Sees America, former Fox News anchorman and commentator Bill O’Reilly reviews the stunning rise of Donald Trump from New York real estate developer and celebrity to his election as President of the United States. As the one-time anchor of the tabloid show Inside Edition, O’Reilly had interviewed Trump before his decision to run for President, and as a candidate Trump was a frequent guest on the author’s news show The O’Reilly Factor. O’Reilly uses his familiarity with Trump to paint a picture of the President that is largely positive but not sentimental.
In O’Reilly’s telling, Trump is neither a monster nor an angel, neither fool nor genius. Instead, he portrays Trump as a well-intentioned but impulsive man with a relatively simple political outlook and a knack for self-promotion. The story O’Reilly tells will be familiar to anyone who follows politics, but he does provide some insights into how Trump became such a political force.
