Summary

Audrey Bennet and Jude Harper have just lost their dear friend Daniel, but Danny shared an unbelievable secret with them before he passed away. He invented a time machine.
After finding it, they decide to leave it untouched and under coded lock and key in Harper’s basement, but fate brings about necessity. Just when they need him most, Danny is there to help them.
Audrey is working hard on a case that should not be happening; she's the unlucky police detective tasked with putting an old woman in jail at the insistence of a heartless tycoon.
When she hears Ruth Harrison's story, she knows she must do everything in her power to help Ruth win her freedom, her life, and get back a bit of her past so she can find peace in her future. Even if it means dragging Jude Harper back in time with her to uncover the truth.
This is a tale of enduring love; love between friends, love between lovers, and the strength that it takes to bind them all together. Harper and Audrey discover that everything that happens in every life, no matter how small, can have a powerful effect; a butterfly effect, that ripples throughout the rest of time.

Ethshar? Some readers already recognize the name, but if you aren’t one of them, perhaps a brief explanation is in order. “Ethshar” is the invented world that has been the setting for almost a dozen novels from the pen of Lawrence Watt-Evans. Its inhabitants don’t call it that; they call it “the World.” For readers, though, that’s not specific enough. The dominant nation on the World is the Hegemony of the Three Ethshars, while the largest, richest city, where most of the stories are set, is Ethshar of the Spices, so “Ethshar” is close enough. The name itself comes from words meaning “safe harbor.” You don’t need to have read any of the novels to enjoy the stories herein; each one should stand alone. And if you've read the novels, you will enjoy this return to the world of Ethshar with 11 stories... This is the first time they have all been collected in one book!

With a comic edge, Zero is a sci-fi space opera that charts the adventures of a bounty hunter called Oatmeal as he flies around the galaxy with his trusty sidekick, a genius kid called Jelly.
    ...
Life's good for Oatmeal at the moment; when he isn't lounging on the coach watching reruns in his boxers, he's out smashing CRIMs and cashing bounty checks.
But then she comes along. And she is a galaxy-full of freaking trouble. It was just meant to be an ordinary rescue: save the Earth-girl from the nasty aliens, give her to the police, and cash that fat check. But Callie Hope is anything but ordinary.
Just one day with her, and Oatmeal finds himself being tracked down by every CRIM, galactic cop, and terrorist the Milky Way can throw at him. Now his options are painfully simple: take all the kid's cash and dump her or ... save the galaxy.
Zero is a two-part series. Both instalments are currently available.
