I started writing Optimize YOUR Bnb in July 2017 while staying at an Airbnb in Estonia. I met Veronika while exploring Old Town Tallinn. When I found out Veronika was an Airbnb host, I asked to see her listing. I saw potential, but her online listing wasn't much. I told Veronika about how I optimize Airbnb listings. We agreed that I would stay at her listing for a small discount in exchange for a fully optimized Airbnb listing. As of November 2017, Veronika has 10 5-star reviews.

I wrote Optimize YOUR Bnb to reach more hosts like Veronika. This book contains the culmination of my five-year experience with Airbnb from being an employee and a guest, to a host, to Superhost, and to starting an Airbnb property management company. I've hosted everything from a living room couch to a 3-story, 5-bedroom hillside mansion. The information in this book is more complete and effective than anything on the market.

Microsoft Teams. Slack. Zoom. Google Workspace.
Every day, hundreds of millions of people use these über-popular collaboration tools, but only to limited extents. That is, as replacements to email and Skype. We are merely scratching the surface of what these collaboration hubs can do. Rare is the company that has realized even one-quarter of their benefits.
Blame ignorance, not malice. Organizations, executives, and rank-and-file employees have lacked a holistic framework to fully understand the remarkable power of these new collaboration hubs, much less unleash them.
    At least until now.
Reimagining Collaboration provides this essential gestalt. This timely, ambitious, provocative, and seminal book introduces a bold new model of work predicated on hubs and spokes. No theoretical text, it offers concrete tips for companies and groups on how to transform the way they work.

Even in this age of "do not call" lists and voicemail jail, more and more companies are setting up call centers to drive new business. Why? It could be because people are spending less time "shopping" and more time just buying. Just a few years ago the buying process for most people started when they picked up the phone and started to talk to a salesperson, either in person or on the phone. In today's world, with all the data at our fingertips, a salesperson often isn't contacted until more than fifty percent of the sales process is done! For many purchases, people don't feel the need to spend a whole lot of time in front of a sales person—or even much time on the phone. For many purchases, the conversations and fact finding now occupy a relatively brief span of time. When we target such consumers, though, there are certain basic questions we struggle with: how do we get the people we call to want to stay on the line with us? Or, in an inbound model, how do we connect with them most effectively during those critical opening seconds when they pose their question or issue? Once we do have them on the phone, how do we keep them on the line and turn that call into profit? In this book, author Tom Niesen shows call center managers how to empower their teams to accomplish these critical business goals using the Sandler Selling System.

A social enterprise is a business that trades for a social and/or environmental purpose.

Social enterprises generally have a remit to do good in some way by solving a social or environmental problem. These organisations typically know who they are trying to help and why. One difference between social enterprises and charities is that these are organisations that aim to meet their needs for income through vending products and services. They will often not look for grants and donations to keep going. That said, they may use grants to get underway at the outset, or may look for alternative sources of financing such as debt finance (loans), equity finance or community finance. The founder of social enterprises generally launches them with a view to making a difference in the area targeted.
