Falling asleep in front of a TV or computer screen, as many people do these days, is not the most relaxing way to end a busy day. What we do in the evening can affect our night’s sleep, disturbing our sleep patterns and dreams. Last in the Evening is Osho talking on a variety of subjects specially selected for the evening. It gives you a different option for ending your day, a taste of meditation that can carry you through the night.Simply find time in the evening to sit quietly, be with yourself, and read the suggested passage. The extracts here, and in the companion volume First in the Morning, are taken from intimate one-on-one talks with Osho, and he suggested this compilation of his insights on a variety of subjects that include the nature of bliss, joy, and meditation.Whether you are familiar with meditation or a newcomer to the inner world, these two invaluable books, separately or together, can make a real difference to how you approach each day, and your life.

The law of attraction — how to use the mental and physical abilities we were born with to create wealth and success — is wonderful to know, but many who have discovered this “secret” still lead miserable lives. The Greatest Secret of All clearly explains this law of manifestation but then takes it a quantum leap further, revealing what is truly important in life.

We have what we need within us to do what we love, to be the people we dream of being, and to become completely fulfilled along the way — to become, as Abraham Maslow put it, self-actualized.

We also have the capability, here and now, to create a world that works for everyone. In these pages, you will find the secret to a life of happiness, inner peace, ease, and fulfillment, and the secret that lets each of us contribute to making the world a better place for all.

A few excerpts: 'Crack' the Head's hand landed. The Head released my wrists and helped me stand upright. "Bend over Wright, and place your hands on the seat of the chair." "Come along girl, I haven't got all day," said the Head impatiently clicking his fingers to emphasise his words. Clumsily I complied, and handed my knickers over with a shaking hand. Immediately the Head busied himself by laying out all the punishment implements, a formidable display. 'Crack! Then the policeman's hand cracked down time after time, until the girl's backside was a bright scarlet. Time and time again, the cane landed, leaving criss-cross weals, until there wasn't a space left unmarked. The girl groaned aloud, and the policeman laughed. Waiting outside the Head's study, Called in at 09.10. Christ I thought the last Head was bad enough but this one is ten times worse. I was pulled straight over the Head's knees, skirt up knickers down for a spanking I shall remember for some time to come.
