A tourist stumbled upon one grieving woman during his morning strolls along the hilly tracks of Darjeeling. The woman seemed to be a hermit draped in saffron as she was inconsolable in the backdrop of persistent rain and chilly weather with thick fog engulfing the entire Himalayan range. The tourist inquired about the cause of her distress, to which, after moments of silence, the woman narrated a story that transfixed the tourist with sheer wonder leaving him in a state of hallucination where religion or the less of it along with respect, love, and faith created a rich tapestry of mythical proportion. It left him, soul-searching for the elusive truth of our own life and existence.
What was that narrative that left the tourist speechless??
Tune in to this philosophical mysticism that presents a time-agnostic commentary that was relevant yesterday is relevant today and perhaps shall remain relevant till humanity survives.

Part 8: Sergei Ivanovich's (Kostya's brother) latest book is ignored by readers and critics and he participates in the Russian commitment to Pan-Slavism. Stiva gets the post he desired so much, and Karenin takes custody of Vronsky and Anna's baby, Annie. A group of Russian volunteers, including the suicidal Vronsky, depart from Russia to fight in the Orthodox Serbian revolt that has broken out against the Turks, more broadly identified as the Russo-Turkish War (1877–1878). - A lightning storm occurs at Kostya's estate while his wife and newborn son are outdoors and, in his fear for their safety, Kostya realizes that he does indeed love his son as much as he loves Kitty. Kitty's family is concerned that a man as altruistic as her husband does not consider himself to be a Christian.
Anna Karenina is a novel by the Russian author Leo Tolstoy, first published in book form in 1878. Many writers consider Anna Karenina the greatest work of literature ever, and Tolstoy himself called it his first true novel. It was initially released in serial installments from 1873 to 1877 in the periodical The Russian Messenger.

'The Country of the Blind' is the strange story of a mountain guide who accidently falls off a cliff ledge in the Andes. He survives the fall unhurt, and finds himself in a remote valley where a tribe lives completely cut off from the rest of the world. A hereditary illness has meant that for 15 generations all the members of the tribe have been born blind. As a result, they now have a highly evolved sense of hearing, scent and touch. 'In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king,' thinks the mountaineer. But he finds that the gift of sight is far less useful or appreciated that he had expected in the country of the blind.
