The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus Christopher Marlowe - The Tragical History of the Life and Death of Doctor Faustus, commonly referred to simply as Doctor Faustus, is an Elizabethan tragedy by Christopher Marlowe, based on German stories about the title character Faust, that was first performed sometime between 1588 and Marlowe's death in 1593. Two different versions of the play were published in the Jacobean era, several years later. The powerful effect of early productions of the play is indicated by the legends that quickly accrued around themthat actual devils once appeared on the stage during a performance, "to the great amazement of both the actors and spectators", a sight that was said to have driven some spectators mad.

As each day another social or humanitarian issue needed to be addressed, another verse came to life. Bill’s idea was to put the music around the poem becoming their Poetry Fusion, Be Silent No Longer. Thereafter, Diane’s words and Bill’s music became a Poetry Fusion mix of issues and positive messages of solutions. Some are as simple as thinking peace. All you need to do is click a button and listen as you go about your day. Let The Brickley Bray Project inspire you to stay informed, remain focused, and believe in a positive future. Remember, “Together We are One.”

The Tragedy of Julius Caesar is a history play and tragedy by William Shakespeare first performed in 1599. It is one of several plays written by Shakespeare based on true events from Roman history, such as Coriolanus and Antony and Cleopatra.
Set in Rome in 44 BC, the play depicts the moral dilemma of Brutus as he joins a conspiracy led by Cassius to murder Julius Caesar to prevent him from becoming dictator of Rome. Following Caesar's death, Rome is thrust into a period of civil war, and the republic the conspirators sought to preserve is lost forever.
Although the play is named Julius Caesar, Brutus speaks more than four times as many lines as the title character; and the central psychological drama of the play focuses on Brutus' struggle between the conflicting demands of honour, patriotism, and friendship.
