Summary

Raising Intuitive Children helps parents understand an intuitive child--s world and teaches them how to validate, not suppress, these intuitive abilities. The stakes are high; if intuitive children get dismissed, they can lose their way, their joy, and their spirit. Psychotherapist Caron Goode teams up with parenting expert and coach Tara Paterson to share explanations, stories, and examples--many from Tara's own family--in this ground-breaking guide. It shows how to: Know if a child is intuitively gifted. Shift the parenting style to meet a child's style and strengths. Use breathing techniques to stay centered, calm, and optimistic. Create rituals so children can feel solid and bring forth their intuitive intelligence. Deal with environmental and nutrition elements that especially affect intuitives. Explore strategies for bonding and communication at each stage of development.

This is a big combination of a series of books. There are 8 titles, which are divided into following themes:
Theme 1: What is cognitive behavioral therapy?

    How is it used?

What can you achieve with such a form of treatment?

These and many other questions will be answered in this guide. Other topics will float to the surface, such as its use for boosting self-esteem, psychodynamic therapy, social healing, acceptance and commitment, misophonia, the Twelve Step Program, solutions for depression, and many others.

Theme 2: Schizophrenia is more common than you think. And there are a lot of false myths about it. Some people it’s similar to multiple personality disorder, but this notion is far from the truth. Others say it’s only related to voices or addictions. But there is more to it than that.

In this guide, we will shed more light on this important matter. Schizophrenia should be understood, empathized with, and acknowledged. Those who have it, are people, like all of us, with a slight disorder in their brain that has some negative side effects (and even a few positive ones).
Theme 3: Are there sociopaths in your life? You bet! You may not recognize them, or they may not be serial killers. Perhaps they are not causing any trouble at all. But to know what to look for, is pretty important, if you ask me.
Theme 4: What happens in the brain of someone who has Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder?

Why can’t we either erase memories or cope with them when they have been shockingly awful?

Questions like these will be answered in this quick guide, as well as other interesting facts, anecdotes, and topics.
    And 4 other titles!

Exeter played a vital role during the First World War supplying men for the Army and raising funds to help troops overseas. The Mayoress and her team played a key part collecting money to aid homeless Belgian refugees in the city while also supporting other worthy causes both home and overseas. Soldiers travelling through Exeter all received food, refreshments and cigarettes due to the money raised. The city had its own battalion, 'Exeter's Own' and thousands of servicemen passed through the city on their way to northern Europe. Players at Exeter City football club were amongst the first to join the Colours and later the Footballers' Battalion (the 17th Battalion Middlesex Regiment). The effect of the war on Exeter was great. By the end of the conflict, there wasn't a family in Exeter who hadn't lost a son, father, nephew, uncle or brother. There were tremendous celebrations in the streets as the end of the war was announced but the effects of the conflict lasted for years to come.

When asked about living a life of the heart, Barks says, "Rumi has many ways of talking about that. Somehow breaking the container of the ego and moving out into some mystery." He says, 'Jars of spring water are not enough anymore. Being contained is not enough. Take us down to the river and then eventually to the ocean, the shoreless ocean.'"
