It has been said that golf looks so easy, so why is it so hard? For years, I was just like so many golfer, struggling to develop my "feel" around the green. With a growing family and a military career, it left me with less and less time to practice. After designing the ZoneGolf123 system, I realized that I had "cracked the code" on the short game. I designed a system that was now as easy to execute as the game looked. I knew I changed the way the short game should be evaluated and executed. This change in paradigm replaces the "old" with the "new". From trying to manipulate the club to hit a spot on the green to knowing that you can hit close to that spot over and over again under any kind of pressure. By using a few Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), I was not only able to execute shots around the green consistently, I was able to document how it happened. By discovering how far shots went in practice, I was able to trust it on the course. By following this easy to use formula you too can excel at the short game.

What does the word “pressure” mean to you? If you’re like most players, you associate it with feeling nervous or apprehensive about something, having negative thoughts, and experiencing a variety of unpleasant sensations like rapid breathing, a pounding heart, butterflies in your stomach and trembling hands. And that’s just on the first teebox! But joking apart, what do you really know about performing under pressure in golf?
Well, many players believe both that pressure is inevitable in golf and that there is very little you can do to overcome it. But both of these beliefs are wrong. Firstly, there is an important difference between pressure situations and pressure reactions. To clarify, although pressure situations – like facing a 6-foot downhill putt to halve a hole in matchplay - are inevitable in golf, your anxious response to them is not inevitable.
In this audio presentation, Sara is going to explain the secret of performing well under pressure - how to do our best when it matters most. In the first part, she will explore what anxiety or nervousness is, where it comes from, and how it affects your performance in golf. After that, she will provide some practical tips on how to control it so that you can perform well in pressure situations.
There are 10 audio recordings in this series including: Concentration, course management, developing mental toughness, enjoying your golf, first tee nerves, handling mistakes and setbacks, increasing your confidence, performing under pressure, pre-shot routines, and putting well.

When all her islands are taken into consideration, the British coastline spans almost 8,000 miles, which is longer than both Brazil's and Mexico's. From the clear blue waters of serene Cornish bays to the tempestuous seas around rugged Pembrokeshire headlands, this new book journeys around the varied shorelines of England and Wales to complete the most comprehensive survey ever taken.
Stuart Fisher, bestselling author of the similarly comprehensive Canals of Britain, visits all the places of interest along the entire coastline of England and Wales: from remote countryside to modern cities, exploring history and heritage, striking architecture and dramatic engineering, wildlife, wonderful flora and fauna, art and literature.
His journey takes him from industrial hubs to small villages and fishing communities, providing a keen insight into what makes each stretch of Britain's shoreline unique and special. Evocative and often dramatic colour photographs help capture the great variety of the coast, and maps, book covers, stamps and local artefacts help convey the character of each area.
This comprehensive and absorbing survey is a treasure trove of interest and knowledge for walkers, cyclists, boaters, holidaymakers and indeed anyone with an interest in coastal Britain.
A sportswriter recounts his adolescent obsession with televised sports through the 1980s in this witty and well-observed coming of age memoir. In Butch Wilkins and the Sundance Kid, author Nige Tassell chronicles his decade-long obsession with televised sports during his teenage years in the 1980s. With nostalgia, humor, and surprising insight, Tassell chronicles his desperate navigation through TV schedules in a hopeless devotion to any sport he could find. Tassell deftly weaves pithy observations on the changing nature of professional sports with reflections on the trials of adolescence and impending adulthood. Sweet, wise and witty, Butch Wilkins and the Sundance Kid is a love letter to a time gone by and a celebration of the way sports can transcend the screen to impact our lives.
As the head coach of the University of Alabama's football team, Nick Saban is perhaps the most influential-and controversial-man in the sport. Unpredictable in his professional loyalties, uncompromising in his vision, and unyielding in his pursuit of perfection, the highest-paid coach in college football has changed the face of the game. His program-building vision has delivered packed stadiums, rabid fans, legions of detractors, countless NFL draft picks, and a total of four national championships, including three in the last five years. Though a great deal is known about Nick Saban the coach, not much is known about Nick Saban the man. Through unprecedented interviews with more than 250 friends, coworkers, rivals, former players, and others, Monte Burke reveals the defining moments of the coach's life. He discusses Saban's rapid and at times rocky ascent up the assistant coaching ranks; his complicated relationship with one of his coaching mentors, Bill Belichick; the birth of his now-famous "Process;" his dramatic and controversial departures from three different high-profile football teams; and much more.Saban paints a portrait of a complex and compelling man, fundamentally shaped by both his past and the game he loves, in a way that no previous book has.
