Pete Walker is back on the dating scene. He wants that Romeo & Juliet level of passion but keeps getting Shrek & Donkey instead. Could uninhibited fitness fanatic Penny be the one? Cat-crazy Miranda seems nice, but there is something intriguing about Lila. It’s just a shame her hobbies include car theft. 
Dating is difficult at the best of times, but in a city with a serial killer on the loose, next to impossible – especially when you’re suffering from memory loss and keep waking up in strange places, dressed in an all-black outfit with matching leather gloves.

A darkly funny Christmas story. It was a strange day when Blake Alexander found out about this odd case everyone at his hospital wanted to decorate the hospital for Christmas drunk on the Christmas cheer.
But that was nothing the reapers were trying to get the after life business in line with fate's decree that they celebrate Christmas with reapers collecting people as Santa Clauses which Blake was totally against. To him it was an anathema. He felt like scrooge It was getting so Christmasy the people at the hospital had stopped calling him Dr Death on the upside but on the downside they called him the Grinch.
He was in a bad mood when he visited the police station which was trimmed for Christmas too.
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
It's Christmas again and everything is crazy again and Blake Alexander is suffering from it's madness again the Necromancer gives his dad a present a black T shirt with the Grinch on saying I hate Christmas on it from the Deject shop. Gabriel is giving out cute fuzzy Santa hats again and the hospital is gone mad with Christmas. In the afterlife Blake's boss Argent has decided to bring back the Christmas spirit again with the Jack Skellingtons are making a comeback everywhere.
How far will this madness go?
Will the police get what they want for Christmas the serial killer the Necromancer's name or will the miss their present the living reaper Mortimer signed seal and delivered to them by Argent himself.
"You need Brandy," said Argent making a glass of it appear in his hand and handed it Mortimer. "But I don't drink," said Mortimer. "You can and must it's Christmas," said Argent. "Okay it's your party," said Mortimer, "Salute!" Mortimer said and drank. He ended up in wet Santa suit. "Why are you covered in drink that's not in the spirit of the season," said Argent. "I said I don't drink I'm a skeleton! What did you expect to happen?" Moaned Mortimer.

Mortimer

This is a story about Mortimer Ascariot, a 1920’s elephantine misanthrope who builds bottle boats, takes meticulous care of his lapel, and dallies on the fringe of reality and fantasy. The novel is set in a pretty little port called Georgetown, South Carolina at the start of the prohibition. 
Mortimer’s father, a philandering titan in the shipping business, has been murdered, leaving Mortimer as the unbefitting benefactor of the Centennial Shipping Line. However, Mortimer’s singular mission in life is to attain the title Admiral (issued by the Bottle Boat Club of Chicago) and remove himself from society. 
Throughout this absurdist comedy, Mortimer finds himself victim to a series of compromising situations: injustice at the hand of the United States Post Office, bamboozled by a speakeasy disguised as a protestant church, arrested by the Georgetown precinct, mayhem at the hands of his road-kill eating relatives from West Virginia, and thrust into match-making attempts by his nanny, Mrs. Dixon. 
Hidden beneath his trusty captain’s hat, but betrayed by his bushy and emotive mustache, Mortimer copes with discomfort by leaning into his surrealist fantasies about the largest and most illustrious boat of the 1900s: Her Mistress, The Esquirer. 
Whether related to injustices at the hands of those that would disturb his artistic process, unwanted physical contact from the doting Lilly Lou Longhorn, or his scheming narcissistic uncle, John Adams, who was named after the second president of the United States, a delirious mother who is infatuated with a mysterious man named “Eugene,” or being kidnapped by pirates, Mortimer is a story that straddles the juxtaposition between living a life planned out for you versus taking the risk of a life that embraces the fragility of human psychology.
