“With his quirky sense of myth and legend and tongue-in-cheek humor, [Morris] brings to life the court of King Arthur and his knights.” —Curled Up with a Good Kid’s Book   Many years ago, the storytellers say, the great King Arthur held court with his gallant Knights of the Round Table. Poor Givret, who is easily the shortest man at court, bears the brunt of their jokes. But what he lacks in stature, Givret makes up for in brains—and before he knows it, his quick thinking has landed him a place at the famous Round Table! And so beginneth the exciting and funny adventures of Sir Givret the Short, Brilliant, and Marvelous.   “Brush and ink illustrations, both full-page and vignettes, are scattered throughout, adding interest to the humorous story line. The combination of a peddler with a long, hooded black cloak; an evil, self-proclaimed count; a young woman who talks too much, or just enough; and a reckless young knight out to prove himself results in an entertaining tale that is sure to please young readers enamored with medieval derring-do.” —School Library Journal   “This is often quite funny, and just exciting enough to capture the attention of budding young Arthur-philes.” —Booklist

"Unabashedly takes the shame away ... Be prepared to giggle along." —The Children's Book Review
Taking the taboo out of POO! ~ as featured in TV shows Dexter and Resident Alien ~
Everybody poops—it’s true! It’s time to blow the door right off the bathroom, and shine a light on what happens on the loo.
For the little ones just discovering the contents of their diapers and nappies, the bigger ones needing reassurance that their most mysterious bodily function is as natural as can be, and the biggest ones who still hold a fondness for toilet humor, Everybody Poops! is piled high with bold and audacious illustrations and the truth about who’s doing the pooing: every body is doing it!
Sure to incite giggling fits and all-ages laughter, Everybody Poops! exposes the least talked about fact we all have in common the world over and among all walks of life, benefiting the youngest of us by opening the discussion, promoting comfort with their bodies, and helping them feel included. Poo pride!

"Happy birthday, Stanly. We hope you like your present…"
Cynical, solitary Stanly Bird is a fairly typical teenager – unless you count the fact that his best friend is a talking beagle named Daryl, and that he gained the powers of flight and telekinesis when he turned sixteen.
Unfortunately, his rural Welsh home town is not exactly crying out for its very own superhero. London is calling – but what Stanly finds there is a good deal weirder and more terrifying than anything he could have imagined. Perhaps he should have stayed in Wales …
