Patricia Wells, long recognized as the leading American authority on French food, and her husband, Walter, live the life in France that many of us have often fantasized about. After more than a quarter century, they are as close to being accepted as "French" as any non-natives can be. In this delightful memoir they share in two voices their experiences—the good, the bad, and the funny—offering a charming and evocative account of their beloved home and some of the wonderful people they have met along the way. Full of the flavor and color of the couple's adopted country, this tandem memoir reflects on the life that France has made possible for them and explores how living abroad has shaped their relationship.
Written in lyrical, sensuous prose and filled with anecdotes, insights, and endearing snapshots of Walter and Patricia over the years, We've Always Had Paris . . . and Provence beautifully conveys the nuances of the French and their culture as only a practiced observer can. Literally a moveable feast to be savored and shared, including more than thirty recipes that will delight readers and cooks alike, the couple's valentine to France and to each other is delicious in every way.

Thomas Burke was born Sydney Thomas Burke on November 29th, 1886 in Eltham, London (at the time it was part of Kent).
An author in the early years of the century who brought his skills of pen and eye to parts of London, specifically the Limehouse district of the East End and wrote with drive and vigour about the characters he met and the places that he knew. Whether he turned that material into fiction or non-fiction he words seep quality. His work ranged from these wonderful vignettes of down at heel London to writings on homosexuality and the English Countryside.
Thomas Burke died in the Homeopathic Hospital in Queens Square, Bloomsbury on 22 September 1945.
Now sadly neglected we hope that the reprinting of his earlier works might once again give him the prominence and respect his talents deserve.

Black tourism has been on the rise for the last few years. While it is wonderful to see pictures of other Black people having a good time in other countries and submerging themselves into other cultures, there is still a small problem. There is hardly any travel content available from a Black perspective. This travel guide was created to help address that issue.

This black travel guide aims to show potential travelers why Incheon, South Korea should take priority over Seoul or Busan. It was designed and created by an all-Black team for people of color. Inside of this guide you will find travel information written from the viewpoint of an African American male living in Korea, information about places to explore with special attention to places for nerds that enjoy Marvel, Gundam, One Piece, and more. This guide goes into depth about what it is like to be a Black person in Korea as a resident and as a tourist.
