The room buzzed with whispers as everyone gathered, ready to witness the unfolding drama.
“Oh dear,” Xu Jiaojiao muttered under her breath. Then, without hesitation, she lifted the hem of her pristine white wedding dress, strode forward, and tugged on the sleeve of a man standing nearby. “Mr. Qi, will you marry me?” she asked softly, her voice calm and steady.
The crowd was stunned into silence. Had she lost her mind?
Qi Shenbai, the man in question, was a mysterious and immensely successful businessman with over a decade of dominance in his industry. His enigmatic demeanor and apparent disinterest in women made him the subject of constant speculation. But to their dismay, no such moment came. Instead, the headlines were filled with stories of Qi Shenbai showering his wife with affection and spoiling her beyond belief.
    The doubters were left speechless.
