Sinopsis

Be it unrequited fascination with his straight best friend or impossible fantasies of rekindled interest with his heartbreaking ex, Mason has no clue why the perfect connection seems to keep slipping through his fingers. When another lonely holiday seems like too much weight to shoulder, Mason gives up on romance and seeks out the next best thing -- rented company. Jack is everything a person could want in an escort: willing, hot, and built like an angel.
Mason can't resist. After all, who wouldn't be interested in a guy who loves kid's movies, is a self-professed Peter Pan, and has no problem throwing caution to the wind at a moment's notice. But then interest quickly blooms into a whole new emotion -- an emotion that Mason knows far too well, especially when Jack has no interest in returning it, preferring to keep his heart safely tucked away in Neverland.

It's only supposed to be one night. Until it isn't.

When the Queen's guardsman enters my inn, the last thing I expect is to be propositioned. But this far north, it can get lonely at times, and my bed fits two easily enough. The guardsman is lithe and fae, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't interested. Besides, what's one night between grown men?

I don't expect to see him again. But rumors of war bring him back to me, and what starts as a one-off soon blossoms into so much more ...

In a summer of hard work, adventure, and danger, he matures and finds a new course for his life. Before the season ends, he knows he's meant to be workin' on the railroad as he fights to build a career and a partnership that just might last for the rest of his life.
Alden Prescott is a loner, content to operate his big crane and shrug off the added responsibilities of being a gang foreman. His current foreman, however, is a drunkard and so close to worthless that Alden ends up doing a lot of the functions he has tried to avoid. Although Alden's strongly drawn to the handsome new summer hire, memories of a past tragedy make him afraid to pursue the relationship.
What will it take to convince Alden that Roane is not going to let him repeat past mistakes? Is their budding relationship heading for a train wreck, or is it the perfect connection to take them down life's track together?

    A Vic and Matt Story
It's Valentine's Day, and Matt has a special evening in mind for Vic to accommodate his lover's foot fetish.
This short, erotic romp was originally written as a flash fiction story on spec, and there are no references to Vic's super powers or the special bond Matt shares with his lover, so if you haven't read any of my other Vic and Matt stories, you can still enjoy this one.

After a reenactment weekend, Goose Tucker inadvertently brings home Civil War soldier Jefferson Eaves' diary and is shocked to discover Jefferson's spirit has come along, too.
Through the diary, Jefferson tells Goose about his true love, Calvin, who was a former slave who fought for the Union. With no record of Calvin's death or service found, Goose figures Jefferson might not want to cross over until Calvin receives due recognition.
Jefferson also speaks of an acorn planted as a sign of commitment to their future. When reenactment leader Patrick O'Hanlon calls looking for the diary, he tells Goose about his plans to return down south to protest the chopping down of an old oak tree. Is this the tree that grew from Calvin and Jefferson's acorn?
Goose, with Jefferson in tow, decides to go with Patrick to find out. What happens between the four men once there is a lesson in healing and love.

Are you willing to commit murder to save your daughter?

Jinx Kilduff is in trouble. Big trouble. The leader of his community wants him to take out Gertrude, the leader of the Myrfolk community. To get Jinx to follow through, he kidnaps Jinx's daughter. Jinx doesn't want to kill Gertrude. He's been trying to get her to take him in so he can escape the life he's trapped in. Now he's forced to kill her instead.

Namir Klossner wants to be left alone. He doesn't want anyone in his space, so no one is more surprised than him when he offers a panther shifter from another community to stay in his guestroom. There is something about him that makes Namir want to keep him close. Mostly it's because he doesn't trust him, but he'd be lying if he said that was the only reason.

Jinx will do whatever he has to do to get his daughter back, but maybe there is a way other than to kill Gertrude. And maybe, just maybe, he can stay with Namir. There is nothing Namir hates more than vampires, so when he hears Jinx has a daughter and she is kept prisoner by one, he swears to do everything in his power to get her back ... and if he succeeds, maybe Jinx will want to stay with him.
